We have a topic for talking in Spanish. . . . Why not French? Or am I the only one who is learning French/knows it?

*Clears throat* Salut! Je m'appelle Corny. Je suis une fille. J'ecris un livre. (It's in the panning stage, but. . . . Technically, that counts.)

"In the meantime, no one should roam the camp alone. Use the buddy system."
"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.

Mmmhmm. I'm not very fluent yet. You can probably tell.

Jetthebinturong

I can easily translate the first post and the second so no, it's not that easy to tell. In case anyone was wondering, the first post says "Hi! My name is Corny. I am a girl. I'm writing a book." The simple sentence structure can be solved quite easily. Instead of "Je suis une fille. J'ecris un livre." you could have "Je suis une fille ET j'ecris un livre." Or, something that makes more sense, "Salut, je m'appelle Corny et je suis une fille." or if you wanted to have the whole thing as one sentence you could have "Salut, je m'appelle Corny et je suis une fille; aussi j'ecris un livre."
"In the meantime, no one should roam the camp alone. Use the buddy system."
"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.

Wow. Thank you!

Strange question: What exactly is the difference between 'mange,' 'manges,' and 'mangeon'? The course I'm taking got me really confused on that

. . . . Okay. Je suis mange un pomme.

It's 'Je mange une pomme'.  I think 'suis' means have.

"Je mange un pomme" doesn't make sense, it would be "Je mangeR un pomme."

"Je suis mange un pomme." Is the past tense.
