Plot twist: It's Mhera.

(Just a far-fetched guess, I'm confused)

This mystery reminds me of Mafia. Whoever DDB is, he/she has got us running around in circles. Probably having fun with it as well, fun I do not plan to give.

Thanks, MatthiasMan, for the avatar!

Gonff the Mousethief

It could be HIAG. He always loved the DDBs, plus this may be a way for him to jump back into the forum.
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

So, does "Abyss" mean anything to anyone?

He did say Corn had a lot of clues. Hmm...

I mentioned that to the DDB himself. He didn't say anything beyond "a stretch can never be too far". (I wish it was her.)

I have always been here. It's been too long, too long... I predate most active members, including you.

I suspect Matthias, or...

Redwall Abbey himself.

Arg, the quality, my eyes!

*Ahem*

The Imperial Fleet and its known associates take no responsibilty for the possession and "puppeteering" of the party known as "DDB." Should I remind you that we exist to destroy rebellion in the galaxy and crush all opposition to the Empire. DDB and all other parties involved in the current conflict have made no certain hostile movement to the Empire. We are not allied with any sides in said conflict. Should, however, a party make a hostile movement, we will conduct our own singular war effort against the side who attacked us. Thank you for your time and have a good day.

If DDB is being truthful, getting a PM that he/she predates Rachel is a big clue.

Anyway, he/she is looking at Small RP and that unnerves me.

Thanks, MatthiasMan, for the avatar!

Søren

I think it could be James, he's older then Rachel. That leaves myself, Sky, Leatho, Rain, Dan and James. Leatho, Rain and Dan haven't been on enough like the DDB has. But James is always on.

It could be Shade (although I doubt it.  He's been too busy for months).  Or Vilu.

Just because the member who poses as DDB hasn't been online doesn't mean it can't be him/her.

It could be someone who is inactive.

How do we even know it's an existing forum member? DDB could be lying through these PMs. Has the thought crossed nobody's mind?

That's certainly a possibility, but it's also no fun. For the game they're giving you to play to work, you have to assume that they're basically honest. Otherwise you're just wasting your time.

I agree. Always being on at the same time as DDB if you are DDB would be dumb. I think DDB is more clever than that. (I know that was worded weirdly.)

I can do that because I'm awesome.

Since you believe DDB to be an existing member and you're not taking them down, I assume that they're either a mod, or they asked the mods for permission before doing this.

"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.
