See title.

I think that many people will have left, and a many people will have registered, but more people have left than have registered. Soren and I will be discussing various things, and looking back at the days of discussing V and C, everything on that end has ended perfectly. And James has about four thousand hours of activity. ;D
Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.

Twenty years from now? I'm afraid it'd look like a 404 page.

Maybe not, though. After all, the Redwall.net forums are still up, and they've been around almost that long. In that case, it's most likely to be a ghost town.

Either case seems pretty depressing, but entropy is the law of mortal life.

Like as not, defunct or disused. Websites tend to be rather ephemeral in the grand scheme of things. But the internet is young and malleable; we shall see.

Delthion

I mean assuming that the forums are still functional.

If not defunct, likely disused. Perhaps some would still visit and post, though it is doubtful we (the current forum crowd) would be among them in any significant quantity.

Skyblade

Interesting topic, though I find it depressing for some reason

Thanks, MatthiasMan, for the avatar!

That's because those fuddy-duddies don't appreciate my loyalty to the forum!! I SHALL LEAD IT TO SUPREMACY OVER THE WORLD WIDE WEB!!! ;D

I think all of us will be mods, lording over the newbies.

"In the meantime, no one should roam the camp alone. Use the buddy system."
"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.

I like Sage's idea. Make me a mod so I can take over the forum and eventually become Queen of the world.
Just pretend there is something interesting and unique written here... I have nothing to say.

The Skarzs

Dead and gone, honestly. Most if not all members will have moved on, the youngest perhaps getting their first jobs, the average ones living life with families of their own, and the oldest far too busy, burnt out, or bored to continue their activity.
New fans might find the site, if it is still accessible, and note the lack of activity. They can poke around and see what people have said about the series, and perhaps move on. Hardcore fans might try to revive the site or even start another, but there will never be the same zeal or bustle about the series as has been.
Countless other series will be written, drawing fans away either now, later, or from future participants, and the past will be the past.
Cave of Skarzs

Cave potato.

Wow, this is really depressing to read before bed.
In truth the forum will probably be unused but I like to think that a new generation of fans would move in. Like we moved in after the original lot kind of moved out. Our forum here is special and I hope it endures.
