  Yep!  My mom decided it'd be fun to name me after my uncle (who just so happens to be my favourite uncle), 'cause she and my dad couldn't decide on a name.  She wanted to name me Courtney after one of HER uncles, but my dad wanted to name me Stephanie.  (Out of my name, Courtney, and Stephanie, I'd have wanted to be named Stephanie.  At least people could spell that.  Or even pronounce it.  )

  Ehhhhhhh, not sure I really want to say.  The first letter can really give away a lot about a name, and I don't think my parents would be totally cool about me giving information about my name.  I guess I could tell you A letter in my name, but not the first letter.  So... I have a "Y" in my name.  That's all I'm saying.

  Isn't that always the deal with nicknames?  I mean, my brother's Squishy, my sister's Pookie, my uncle (the one I'm named after) is UK (as in the United Kingdom), I have a friend who's Mando, my cousin's daughter is Annie (which is sorta close to her name, but her name isn't Annie), and there are probably several others that I can't think of right now.

  Lol, I haven't!  But my sister's nickname comes from Garfield's teddy bear, Pookie.  My grandpa's a big Garfield fan (such a big fan that his truck is named The Golden Odie), so he gave my sister that name when she was a baby and it kinda stuck.  To thank him for giving her the name she now is sick of, Pookie got him a Pookie doll for Christmas.
