"Wot I need it for don' matter. I figure ye can probably guess wot I'm goin' to use it for anyhow." Fastooth snarled, looking around the tent for the dangerous poisons he sought. "I jus' need it, an yer gonna get it, an' make it for me vixen."

Vadoma curled her lip.
"I'm not doing anything until you tell me what you're going to do with it. If you try and poison either leader and fail, which I'd bet you will, we both get killed."

Groddil

Stumbling pointed ahead, where on side of the massive hole could just be seen around the wall of the Abbey.
"Wight dere, Maxy! Come on, huwwy up!"

In the wetlands, One-Ear led the ragtag bunch of misfits that formed the militia through the underground tunnel, following the directions given by Mortembell. Eventually, the passage came to an end, light seeping through from a crack in the roof above. The fox and one of the otters reached upwards, shoving a large crate of linen out of the way. The rebels, numbering five, re-disguised the tunnel and strode towards the door of the storage room. They emerged into a deserted bunkhouse for offduty guards, uniforms strung up on one wall. The fox and his allies all donned the uniforms, before walking out into the settlement. A large, dirt path weaved between several primitive dwellings, branching off to link up with the numerous grandstands surrounding Sheba's pit, and finally stopping at one of the heavy oaken gates set into the large, stone wall surrounding the city. One side of town was dominated by a huge stone fortress, rivalling Redwall in size, while most of the land within, and outside of, the walls was squelchy, sodden mud. The poorer dwellings sat on stilts, while the public buildings, and more important homes, were constructed on the firm, rocky ground around the Pit. One of the two squirrels in One-Ear's group pointed to a huge, wooden shack wedged between the outer wall and the castle.
"That's it, One-Ear. The Governor's residence. I'll go first, double check he's home. If 'we is, we'll act like we're the relief guard."
The squirrel straightened his sword belt and strode off towards the Governor's residence.

Hickory

OOC: Gonna respond with Daxian, or should I go to the camp first?
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Groddil

OOC: whoops. :P

Eh, she'll be right, mate. It can wait until the camp.

Hickory

Asher pushed Daxian into the clearing of the abandoned Vigil camp. A thought occurred to him. "Damien?" He said, wondering if the wounded squirrel was awake. Or alive.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Groddil

OOC: Damien's not there. He was moved to Redwall with the Vigil, so he's probably muttering to himself in a cage just inside the wall or something. Actually, let's say this his cage got moved into the pit.

(Which pit? The Redwall one or the Wetlands one) :P

Hickory

OOC: ...

Sure.

BIC: Asher unlocked the empty cage and shoved Daxian inside. "Enjoy your stay," he said. "Let's go," he said to the others. The started towards the forest without a backwards glance.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Groddil

OOC: Don't forget to leave one of Ashers team behind. Maybe one you wouldn't mind if they... Met an unfortunate end?  O:-)

Hickory

OOC: Great minds think alike, I was going to kill one of them earlier.

BIC: Brush stayed behind. "I'll make sure he doesn't escape, Asher."

He returned to the cage door, not talking to Daxian at all.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

"I'm comin', I'm comin'!" Maxy gathered up his tunic and sprinted after her, coming to a halt at the edge of the hole.
"Should we go inna side?"

Groddil

Dacian rattled the bars at the top of the pit.
"Ey, bustail! Why're Ye holdin' me 'ere?"

*****

Stumble took a step backwards.
"Too deep, we be deaded. Wot 'bout dat ding over dere?"
The mouse babe pointed to the lift.

Hickory

Brush stared at Daxian. "Why? Because you're one of our enemy. Why shouldn't we imprison you? Now, shut up. We'll be moving you soon."
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Groddil

"I'm not yer enemy. I'm not even with Alfhild no more! If anythin', I want 'er 'ead on a pike!"

Hickory

"Yeah? You'd like the same of us, I'm sure. Now, shut up. O I'll make you."
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
