OOC: Oi, Sage, let us know when you get to the river, eh?

BIC:

One-Ear, Applelad, and the rest of the group of troops had left Moledeep through the main entrance, and begun heading north. The fox studied a map, which marked the location of the horde, as well as the pine grove where the strange stoats dwelled. It was a fair distance, but not too far. The soldiers begun to march northwards, when Celio appeared next to him. The mouse had a crossbow ready, staring around at the trees.
"Hey, boss. Is there anything we should worry about on the way there?"
One-Ear shook his head.
"Not aside from the occasional vermin scout."
Celio nodded, before falling back slightly to walk near Spinoraz.

OOC: Copy.

BIC: Fardan nodded in agreement. "Just what I was thinking. Since our last attack was so successful, we should do it during the night. Gives us the element of surprise."

Bracklew's ears pressed against his head and he nodded towards Asher. "Yes I will, just a moment." He turned back to Gillpaw touching her paw. "Thanks," He whispered. "For understanding. Just make sure everyone knows I'm okay, and they don't need to come find me." He joined the two squirrels, somewhat awkwardly standing a small ways back, waiting for orders.

"I'm worried 'bout them walls." Fastooth said cynically leaning on his spear haft. "Since they knows we're here, they'll be prepped. An' we wont be sneakin' over 'em. We'll either need to go through, or over an' that ain't goin' to be easy even wit' birds on our side. I'll send out a few teams to bring down some good trees, an' shape 'em into batterin' rams n' towers. I'll wait fer ye orders to attack though." The big rat saluted both cat and ferret, moving off to get the horde marching. He paused, swiveling around to look at Alfhild. "'Ow many do ye need to take on th' shrews Chief?"

OOC: Ya'll feel free to use members of Grah's tribe as scouts and/or foes.

Taking a turn, the three deviated from the main hallway and into the kitchens, where One-Ear had directed them. Asher knocked kn the impromptu wooden doorframe. "Cook, you here? Need some food."

OOC: GRODDIL.

OOC: WOT.

BIC: Cook shuffled over to the doorframe.
"Eh? What for? Ah, nevermind. 'Ere ya go."
He grabbed a sack and filled it with food, then handed it to Asher.
"Stay safe, eh?"

Hickory

Asher nodded. "Many thanks."

He handed the back to Harnam, who slung it over his shoulder. The group continued towards the exit.

"So Bracklew, how much sword experience do ye have?" asked Harnam.

"Not much," Bracklew admitted considering Harnam. A part of him wanted to snidely say he had plenty of sword experience. Yet that might hinder any help he could potentially receive, and they would know for certain his skill soon enough. "A shrew, by the name of Beldill taught me how to stand, and swing. I've sparred a few times with the ottercrew, and fought with vermin, you can see how that went." He sourly waved his arm. "But that's more or less it."

"Hmm," commented Harnam. He waved up to the Vigil soldiers Harding the side entrance as they passed.

"I assume you can use a sling?" commented Asher. "Seems like most of the Redwallers have some sort of expertise with it."

"I could, and I was quite good before." He huffed following the two through the tunnel. Bracklew's tail twitched a little in resentment at the untactful comment. "Somebeast would have to load it for me, but I could sling it just fine."

OOC: Don't go out the pit, it just makes your journey take twice the time. Go out the side exit and you should get to the river faster. GEOGRAPHY! HEEEEECK YEEEAAAAAH!

Also, we're nearly at 100 pages!

Hickory

OOC: *ugh* Sand, mind if we just assume they've been heading for the other exit...?

BIC: Harnam smirked at Asher behind Bracklew's back. Straightfaced, the back squirrel lead the other two through the gap and out onto the streambank. Crunching through the contrasting white snow, he waited for a few seconds.

"Don't hear anything. We'll walk along until this 'Filargo' shows up."

A soft whistling noise begins to fill the air as a large raft slowly rounds the nearby corner. A vole holding a paddle stands at the front, humming a tune. When the raft passes by the three squirrels, the vole shoves his paddle under a tree root and stops the raft dead.
"Greetin's, mates. Name's Filargo. Are ye here ta board th' raft?"
