Drubble hauled Rapshade to his shaky feet with a powerful digging claw, quickly looping the ferret's arm around his own shoulder.
"Ye take the other arm, zurr."

Ashleg

Fangfang quickly imitated what Drubble did but not before smiling at Rapshade reassuringly.
"If'n somethin' hurts yew, jus' tell us. Alright Drubble, let's go."

Groddil

"Alrighty, zurr. Let's go."
The mole set off at a slow pace, helping Fangfang to support Rapshade.

Ashleg

"I think I can do it myself if y' let me take my time." Rapshade said at last when they approached the stairs that led out of the cellars. "Mortembell pulled me up by th' chain this morning so I basically 'ad t' run. This shouldn't be too bad in comparison.."

Groddil

Drubble helped Rapshade to put his feet forwards.
"Ye can tek as long as ye loike, zurr. Tek it easy..."

Ashleg

"Aye, um...thanks. Don't laugh at me now."
After taking a deep breath, the ferret began awkwardly hopping his way up the stairs with one paw on the wall to support him. At one point he nearly slipped and fell, but he made it up the rest of the way and stood at the entrance, panting. He was obviously trying to hide something.
Fang raced up after him and cracked a smile. "Once we get there I'll go back down 'n' get yer food fer ye, Cap'n." The rat promised.

Meanwhile, back in the Great Hall, Grant looked out over the magnificent display of food that dotted the tables. He grinned and walked back towards the kitchen, where he poked his head in.
"You can clean up later. Let's go sit down to the feast--and Duncan and Petu, bring your salad. I'm sure the Dibbuns will be delighted by that!"

Following Mortembell into the Great Hall Rayne rushed up to the wounded mouse already opening her satchel. With practiced paws she began unwinding clean bandages and pressing them against the mouse's torso.

"He needs stitches, he'll have to be taken up to the infirmary. Ava can you carry him?" She asked pressing hard down on the bandages that were rapidly staining crimson. "Hello there, your in a little trouble huh. My name is Rayne, and I need you to stay awake and focus on me. What's your name?" She asked speaking to Marble.

~*~*~*~*~*~

"That he does." Bracklew confirmed turning his head slightly to see what the commotion was. Seeing he would be useless in that situation he remained where he was, but kept his ear cocked in that direction in case his name was called.

"I carry Martin's sword as Champion of Redwall. Should the Abbey be threatened by any outside force I am to take command and protect it. Course that's big joke. How is an invalid like me is supposed to protect an Abbey when I can't even protect myself from a bully like-" Bracklew stopped and changed the subject ,quickly looking over at Maxy.

"That's a lot of strawberries for one squirrel to eat. Maybe we could eat them together."

Marble continued to cough and splutter, spitting blood over the table.
"M-m-m-marble. My n-n-name is...Marble..."
The mouse began to quiver and fell unconscious.

Ava swiftly filled Mortembell and Rayne in on the situation. "Asher brought him here, evidently the mouse got in some sort of battle. I'll need to talk to Abbot Grant about this; please excuse me."

OOC: We need to assume that none of them are in Great Hal, because that's where Grant it. Just letting y'all know.

BIC:

Ava entered Great Hall and made her way over to Grant. "Hullo, Abbot, there's something I need to tell you. Could you spare a moment?"

I am the captain of my soul.

Groddil

OOC: Ava and Marble were in Great Hall. Grant was near the kitchens.

OOC-
Groddil, Drubble!  ;)

Most of what Bracklew said about protecting Redwall flew straight over Max's head. He was too young to understand. At the mention of strawberries, the squirrel perked up again and batted playfully at Bracklew's ear.
"Ya ya, st'awbe'ies! Lessgo get 'm 'n eat 'm!"

Grant nodded.
"Yes, what is it, Ava? I'm trying to tell everybeast that the feast is ready, but that doesn't seem to be working."

Drubble nodded in agreement with Fangfang.
"Everythin'll be all roight, zurr. Easy now, jus' put one foot in fron' o' the other, that be's the way to do it, burr aye!"
