They threw rocks at Fredrick, although they only bounced off of his armor.

The armor had gotten thinner when it had been heated up. After a while Fredrick, who was sinking very slowly for some reason, was able to feel the rocks.

Then the funnel clouds touched down, forming tornadoes. They headed towards Fredrick because the Black KNight had planted a tornado attracter in his pocket.

As he was unconscious, he wasn't aware he was in tornadoes, but he did dream he was back in the Black Knight's castle, being beaten with clubs and axes.

Since he was so dehydrated, though, he ran out of water eventually. The tornadoes stopped, unceremoniously dropping him fifty feet to the ground.
