  An overrated dwarf.  (Honestly, my favourite dwarf was either Balin, Bofur, or Bombur.  )

  And Cole's a spirit of compassion who (as far as I can tell) kinda accidentally slipped through the Veil (the border between the physical world and the Fade, where spirits reside and supposedly where everyone goes when they dream).  Cole took pity on a young mage boy who'd died in prison and took the form of that boy so he could honour his memory and sort of give him the life he deserved.  So, yeah, he can read thoughts and really likes to help people (like, REALLY likes to help people), but he's considered quite creepy to most of the inner circle of the Inquisition.  He's still my favourite character from Inquisition and from Asunder, though, 'cause he's kind to everyone, despite how most treat him.  And despite the fact that many people forget him right after seeing him.
