This one does: Lily was dazed! How was this possible? she vaguely thought. But the overriding message in her mind was COOOOOOL!!! Anyway, back to reality, no, not reality, this weird Lyra image thing. Why would Lyra do something this confusing for the readers? Lily supposed that she would never understand some of Lyra's ideas. Lily sighed. Then the ground seemed to radiate heat. It wobbled, sending ripples everywhere. She saw the look of shock on Lyra's doggy face. She looked so petrified! Lily inwardly laughed - this was a figment of Lyra's imagination, they weren't going to die. But then Lily's ankles began to burn, and melt, and any other word you can possibly think of that is a synonym of either of those words.
