Galli marveled up at the Abbey, eyes wide."Oh my gosh, oh my gosh. Wow." She mumbled to herself. The old squirrel smiled at her.  She couldnt remember ever seeing such a beautifully crafted building. Well, she couldnt remember much at all. She shoved the thought out of her head and stared at Redwall. It somehow seemed familiar, yet at the same time she knew she'd never been there before. A stray thought, there one moment and gone before she could grasp it, flew through her head. It's not quite how I imagined it...

The Skarzs

From Skarzs' perspective, Faiy seemed on the verge of collapse. "Did you need to sit down?" he asked.
He turned to the hare. "Sorry. We're both rather confused. . . We aren't sure where we are, and we've been walking for a while now, without water. If you have any, at least a little, we'd be most gracious. We're just trying to get to the mountain and see what we can find. At least get the lay of the land."

OOC: Feel free to PP the hare, Faiy. (No, I haven't figured out a name for him yet.)

Faiy liked the idea of siting down but she didn't wan't to be the damsel if she didn't have to. "Im fine... though water sounds like a good idea," she said.

"I dare say, you do look a bit parched, wot," The hare said and handed Faiy a canteen. She took it and greedily downed a long draft, though she still made sure there was enough for Skarzs. When she had finished she handed it off to him and then turned back the the hare.

"Thank's, I'm Faiy, and this is Scarzs," She said. She felt a lot better now that she was not thirsty.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

The Skarzs

Skarzs drained the canteen easily, sadly wishing there was more, though he was thankful his mouth wasn't so dry. The blasted sun was like being to close to a fire, but not being able to step away from it.
"Faiy and Skarzs, wot? Well, my name is Nenners Wifflechop Sandpallan, but you can jolly well just call me Nenners! Well, if you're going to the mountain, I may as well go along with you, 'specially since I live there, wot!"
"The mountain is your home?" Skarzs was somewhat incredulous.
"Indeed it is! Lots of other hares live there as well, dontcha know. Though, you might have a bit of a hard time walking around in some places, bein' as tall as you are, wot?" He hopped off a few paces then came back. "Well, are you coming?"

Wylder Treejumper

OOC: Back, guys! for a bit, anyways. I'll try to stay on top, but no promises... :P

BIC: Wylder grinned. "Good, I'm glad we can resolve all this sensibly. There are quite a few things we should do to prepare ourselves, and we should get them done as quickly as possible before night sets in. Should be in about, eleven hours, I'd say," he noted, looking up at the sun. He extended his paw. "By the way, I'm Wylder. Wylder Treejumper, in full. Pleasure to meet you."

Faiyloe

Faiy went quiet and just watched them both, just trying to take it all in. When the hare asked if they where coming she snapped herself out of it and hurried after. "Yes, of course," she said hurriedly. She was unsure what to make of any of this so far and her initial excitement was beginning to wear off and was replaced by analytical observations. She began to discreetly watch both Skarzs and Nenners with an intense curiosity. It was like she was trying to figure out what made them tick. It wasn't that she didn't trust them, or that she felt unsafe, It was more like she was testing the waters, (or in this case observing them) before diving in the deep end. Also her lack of memories was beginning to nag at her. She wanted to say something but she didn't have anything to talk about.

Nenners continued to chatter on and Faiy would nod or shrug, because she had little to add. through this way they learned a lot about the mountain. Who lived their, what it was their for, who was in charge, etc...

Skyblade

OOC: Alright, I'm back...Now that I'm typing this, it's pretty fun.

BIC: Skyblade had drifted away and was walking around the Abbey. Beautiful as it was, she was chiefly focused on getting home, and she would let nothing stop her.

Before she had left, she had asked the Abbot if there was a map anyone could view. His response was that the Abbey Recorder had several. So off to the Gatehouse (OOC: Is that what it was called? Ah, whatever, you know what I mean :P) she was going.

Cautiously, Skyblade opened the door. Scribbling furiously on a desk was a young hedgehog.

Introductions were brief and polite; Skyblade soon learned that the hedgehog was called Thistle and had been in Redwall since he was a dibbun. Soon a variety of maps were spread out before them, with Skyblade soaking in whatever she could.

Sala...what? What is that? Mossflower Woods, okay, that's where I was - even though I have no clue what it is. And all of these random places I don't know. And this...

Skyblade's heart missed a beat. She pointed to a certain landmark. Although the badger was unsure why, it created a feeling she didn't want to ignore.

"What is Loamhedge Abbey?"

Thanks, MatthiasMan, for the avatar!

A horde of Dibbuns, fascinated with Galli's faintly purple-ish fur, had descended on her, taking her hand and dragging her along on a tour.
"This is da Cellars an' deres da kitchens an'..."
"...dat's Brudder Ralver an' dats Sisser May and dats da Friar..."
"...an' we foun' a big beetle-y bug over dere las' night but Avvie let it get away an'..."
The whirl of information made her head spin but she did her best to follow along. As they encountered the Abbeybeasts, she searched their faces for any signs recognition. No one knew her; there would be no answers here. She tried to hide her disappointment, suddenly feeling very tired. Eventually the Dibbuns found a new, more interesting thing, and their tour promptly ended, leaving Galli stranded near the front gates. She leaned against the wall of what the Dibbuns had called the gatehouse, watching the Abbey-dwellers go about their day.

And before the haremaid could respond, she winked out of existence. Screeching like a banshee, Bat leapt away, slipping yet again on the sand. She sat up, staring wide-eyed at the place she'd used to be until a few seconds ago. "Where'd you go?" People just disappearing, it was impossible! She stood, taking a few hesitant steps towards where she'd been, running her paws through the air. Nothing.

Sudden terror gripped her, and Bat scrambled away and began tearing off down the beach and towards the mountain again. She had no idea where she was, had no idea who she was, and had no idea how that hare had disappeared, and running was the only thing that made sense at the moment.

OOC: im leaving for camp today so ill just make myself disappear so you guys can go on!

BIC: Galli heard voices from inside the gatehouse. Curious, she tried to casually peer through the open window to see who was there; it was Skyblade, and an unfamiliar hedgehog. Leaning partially through the window, she spoke up, "Hey Sky! What's-" and suddenly vanished.

LT Sandpaw

Keeping his paws stubbornly by his side Sandpaw jerked his head towards the squirrel Wylder. "Pleasure, I'm sure in some way meeting all of ya'll is a pleasure. Don't ask me right now how it is, I'm just going to pretend that it is."

Shaking water from his footpaws Sandpaw begrudgingly crossed the creek and made his way back towards the fox Groddil, looking over his shoulder to see if Wylder and Kitsune were following.
"I'm not going to pretend, I'm not impressed by the fact that you can tell time by the position of the sun. That's pretty darn brill, but we're burning daylight just standing around like this, let's go."

The Skarzs

Skarzs was beginning to get a little bit tired of Nenners' constant talking, the hare switching between talking about Salamandastron and expressing his disbelief at how big Skarzs was. The cougar was tired, thirsty, hungry, sweaty, and in great need of some time to rest his brain. The mountain almost didn't seem to be getting any closer, the land stretching away ahead of him like the landscape in a dream. He wondered how Faiy was holding up under the constant walking, though he wasn't sure he wanted to ask right then. He would see.
"Keep your wits about you, friends," Nenners was saying. "We've been having some trouble with vermin recently, and we never know when some might pop up, wot? It won't be too long before we're at the jolly old mountain. . ."

Faiyloe

Faiy was getting a painful stitch in her side from all the walking but it was all the sand that seemed to rub against her skin from every crack and crevice of her clothing that was really getting to her. She vowed to take a long shower as soon as they got there. Nenners voice was droning on in the background, she had given up trying to listen to him long ago and was now just intent on taking one step after another. She knew that shelter was not far of and if she just kept pushing herself for a little longer they would be there and she could get something to drink and to eat and a place to sleep in the shade.
