Aww, that's too bad. :(
I've only seen a few episodes of the show here and there because I'm afraid it won't do the books justice. XD

My favorite villain is
Spoiler
Greypatch from Muriel of Redwall, I like how he rebeled against the leader.

Why they try to tear the mountains down to bring in a couple more

And daddy won't you take me back to Muhlenberg County
Down by the Green River where Paradise lay
Well, I'm sorry my son, but you're too late in asking
Mister Peabody's coal train has hauled it away

I actually think Mattimeo and MtW do their books justice. Not so much with Redwall though.

"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.

Agreed, though I liked Martin The Warrior a lot better.  ;)

Asmodeus will always be my favorite villain, simply because he is the closest thing to a demon that redwall got.
I am the harbinger of the spicy rooster apocalypse,
I am the hydrogen bomb in a necktie,
I hold the flames of a thousand collapsed stars,
I am Bobracha!

Ashleg

What about those snakes that were all tied together like a dragon?

Feles

They were cool, but Asmodeus was the original.
Also, he was the ultimate trial for Matthias before fighting Cluny, and his buildup was well deserved.
Reading Redwall as the first book and hearing the shrews and sparrows regard him so fearfully, then the murders on the riverbank, then Matthias stumbling onto him as he was sleeping and finally the epic chase and confrontation in which Matthias barely survived solidified him as a memorable and epic villain.

Ashleg

Yeah, he was better written.

Feles

To be honest though I like all the snakes.  :P

"No sir. I don't like it."

Ungatt Trunn

There was this one really awesome villain named Ungatt Trunn...

Life is too short to rush through it.

Shadow is pretty dark grey for a villain

I know, but I think he qualifies (even if only a little).

That's true. Asmodeus is as close as you'll get to a dragon in the Redwall universe! Slay the dragon to get the magic sword that'll defeat the villain!
"Cowards die a thousand times, a warrior only dies once. The spirits of all you have slain are watching you, Vilu Daskar, and they will rest in peace now that your time has come. You must die as you have lived, a coward to the last!" -Luke the warrior
