There seems to be drama brewing at every step and turn of the internet nowadays. I'm sad that it's wormed its way into even this community.

Disagreement and the potential ensuing drama is a part of life on Earth, I think. Even if you're in a community where you wouldn't think people would have anything to argue about, things have a way of turning up. Amish communities, which most people think of as being peaceful and uniform, are actually highly divided amongst themselves... and over what seem to outsiders like the silliest, most minor issues, like beard length or what types of buttons to use on their coats (or whether there should be buttons at all).

For what it's worth, I think such trouble's come to this community many times before. It just maybe hasn't been so obvious in some time.

I'm virtually the only one at home. Most of my friends have gone to someone's pool "party" (which I could've gone to, but my self-consciousness got he best of me )

I have a good reason for not going, but it's also a chance that I missed out on. Oh well.
