Has anyone else here seen Suicide Squad? I went to see it last night and expected nothing good from it. DC has remained consistent and didn't give me a pleasant surprise (it was ok, there were a lot of things I did not like and really wished they did differently, but the suicide squad themselves were fun characters.)

Yeah, I felt the same way. I actually was surprised that Leto did a good job as the Joker, but I really wish he was in there more. Oh, and Boomerang needed much more time  !

Tried to go see Suicide Squad this weekend but the theater was packed! Missed the last seats and didn't feel like waiting around for the next showing.  Ah! We bought colored hairspray and everything! Perhaps next time. Camping's next week though, so I'm pumped for that

Yeah, the characters were ok but the bad guys were just.... nope. I mean, the Suicide Squad is supposed to be the worst of the worst, and to make the villains look bad and the Suicide Squad look good, DC is just trying to make villains that are, well, worse. I think there's a different way to approach that. If they keep this up, their movies are going to just get darker and darker and be horrible.

Mark Hamil was ok in the Arkham series, though.
