I'll take the $1M; Amazon has a wide enough selection that I can get my money's worth. I can even resell some things to get my money back in cash.

Amazon giftcards worth $1,000,000- I could just sell 'em if I needed something I couldn't buy off Amazon- which is practically nothing.

Courage: Not only the willingness to die manfully, but also the determination to live decently.

The gift cards. I buy so much from Amazon...

I'd go for the 100k in cash, gift cards are questionable and sometimes even have an expiration date. One of my biggest concerns would be the inability to invest money from gift cards. I like taking large sums of money I earn and putting that into mutual funds. I could hardly do that with an Amazon card.

Besides I really don't need a million dollars worth of junk off of Amazon either, though it would be cool. I wouldn't say no to a million dollar gift card.

I'd go for the 100K in cash, and invest it and donate it to charity. You can't do that with gift cards.
The fastest way to a man's heart- Or anyone's, in fact- Is to tear a hole through their chest.

Indeed. You are as ancient as the soot that choked Pompeii into oblivion, though not quite as uncaring. - Rusvul

Psh, sell 'em for 10% off and you've got $900,000. And somebody got free money, so win-win!

@LT Sandpaw , my Amazon gift card says it never expires, so I assume no Amazon gift card would expire unless Amazon does.

I'm not sure which I'd want.

Ares saves not the brave man but the coward.

For the next poll, you should ask whether people say "excuse me" or "pardon me"- I say "Pardon me", but most people where I live now say "excuse me". I guess "Begging your pardon" is a variation of the former (or vice versa), though... More common in the South, I'd say.

I usually say "Excuse me?", "what?" or "I'm sorry?"

Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.
