I WAS SITTING ON MY PORCH WHEN I HEARD A NOISE OF SOMETHING CLIMBING THE STAIRS ONTO IT. I THOUGHT IT WAS MY DOG. LO AND BEHOLD IT WAS A TINY BABY SQUIRREL. SHE CRAWLED RIGHT UBDER MY CHAIR. SHE JUST HUNG OUT FOR LIKE 10 MINUTES. DIDNT EVEN CARE I WAS THERE. PICTURES AND A VIDEO TO COME.

You might think that the Australian one is cute, and doesn't look anywhere as vicious as the American one. Not so, friends. I was relaxing on an island paradise last week, and one night, we decided to watch a movie on an outside projector screen. It was great, except somebody dropped a few skittles on the ground. This meant that about 5 or so of the little guys crept into the area and started eating the skittles. A guy near me even patted one on the back, and remarked how cute and friendly they were. So, when another possum started sniffing near my foot, I wasn't worried. I didn't even move. I just sat there watching the adorable little critter. THEN, THE LITTLE TREE-CLIMBING RAT SUNK IT'S TEETH INTO MY BIG TOE FOR NO REASON AT ALL!!!

Stupid possums.

(Ironically, this actually happened on the Fourth of July.)
