Could there be a pole that would allow people to see who voted what? That would be much more convenient.
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

Actually, I have not ever learned Karate (that's a kid's sport. Real Martial arts is Jiu Jitsu and Judo). I'm learning Jiu Jitsu and I just started last week. I've only had a week of training and it takes ten to twelve years to get a black belt. If I were good enough to take Soren down like that, I wouldn't need the lampstand. He could have screamed when his ribs broke, so if I were a black belt Jiu Jitsu Mafia, I'd go straight into a choke hold. And Jiu Jitsu does not use staffs, neither does Judo. Look it up, Jiu Jitsu is a lot like wrestling.

Also, I'd like to point out that if that were a clue pointing to me, it would be way too obvious.
Great! Eul literally told us how she'd kill someone! We should all be on the lookout for clues relating to hand combat in the next story.

Done.
FYI, all characters are portrayed as humans.

I don't see how that goes against me. I'm saying I would have done it differently. Anyhow, you seem to be quick to jump to conclusions. I see how it could make sense, but with the evidence I gave you guys, it doesn't. I have no experience with staffs, I don't really even know Jiu Jitsu, and I am not physically strong enough to do what the Mafia did.

And before we go voting too quickly (Gonff and Rosie :P ), I think we need to provide evidence and explain our votes before we vote. It's easier to work together, and we'll be less likely to reach a tie.
Just pretend there is something interesting and unique written here... I have nothing to say.

Alright, I guess I went a bit too far. :P

Okay, the reason I'm voting for Eul is,

QuoteIt moved outside, and cut the landline

Even though it is a small chance this is an actual clue, there are only two people on the trip who their signature weapon is a knife-like item, Eul's Machete, and Ashe's Chainaxe.

and, Eul seems to be the one to have the most battle technique knowledge in real life and on the forums, so

I vote Eul.

Well my mind was set on Cornflower, mostly because there was little reason besides a tad of humor to add the frying pan then have someone use something close to it to kill Søren.

Groddil

The crossbow is my weapon of choice, although there hasn't been much chance to use it. And also Groddil, you did have a time where you fought with platipi, and I have a feeling that could be a blunt bludgeoning weapon.

Correction: I fought AS a platypus, which are known for attacking with sharp claws.

On the subject of weaponry, are we really going to believe that "only Corn brought a weapon?" I'm pretty sure that at least one other person is hiding their's in a bag or something.

@Eulaliaaa!: Yeah, I wouldn't be on that list, considering that I'm not exactly muscly... If I were Mafia, I'd probably end up using some sort of ranged weapon, or a "proxy" such as a poisonous animal.

Yeah...

Sorry Corn.

Hickory

I was going to point out that someone could use the frying pan to frame Corn, but that does seem a bit far fetched. :P

In the meantime, my vote goes to Eul.

Chipster of Noonvale

I probably wouldn't say Corn.  As Groddil says, someone else probably has a weapon stashed away in their bags.

Other members have a strong case against Eul, so...

Lady Ashenwyte

I'd like to ask those who voted for Corn one question. If Corn brought a frying pan to the beach house, why would she need to use a lampstand to kill Soren? Why would she not take the frying pan just in case anybody woke up?

I'd like to say that if I used the chainaxe to cut the landline, it would wake everybody up.

But it is still suspicious of Corn to bring her signature weapon, a frying pan, to a place that already has them.

I think my vote may go for Corn, but I'm gonna think about it.

Hmm, I've got an idea, but I don't know how accurate it is...

Corn's well known for using frying pans, right? And the story talks about how the electric equipment was smashed. As if with a frying pan? But it does say later on, which is probably more believable, is that Soren's killer, quote:

QuoteHis attacker expertly swung the weapon, a lampstand at him, breaking one of his ribs.

Expertly swung a bludgeoning weapon, probably means that they're familiar with clubs and such. Now, let's analyse this based on the typical weapon members tend to you.

I think this is the best argument out of the four pages I was late to show up to! This one wins my vote of : Corn. I know it seems too obvious, but it makes far too much sense to just ignore.

As for those believing myself to be suspect - I only just got online - how could I have killed someone?  ::)

Also I'm town. Cross the heart and hope to be Frying Panned over the head by Cornflower  :D
