The solitary wing is probably more dangerous (that's why it's the solitary wing) and, from what we've seen so far, it shouldn't be too hard for members (perhaps Wylder) to break out and attack us, we could gain a valuable ally, or lose a life. Cell block A.
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Groddil

The funny thing is that Cell Block A is actually more dangerous than the solitary wing. :p

Hickory

Well, you didn't tell us that earlier.

You're messing with the results by "hinting" at what will come.

Actually, when you first got here, Galli said that Block A was full of enemies, but Solitary seemed deserted.

Hickory

Deserted for a reason, right? Although, it would be easy to take on one enemy rather than many.
I am the master of my fate:

Groddil

It doesn't matter too much, considering you'll have to go through both at some point anyway. Just a matter of which order you take it in.

"What about Block A? That way leads to the Warden's Office, doesn't it?"
Galli nods.
"Yeah, but its crawling with guests."
Blue shoves the scimitar into your tendrils.

Baliss got the Scimitar.

"Oh yeah, well in that case, I won't need the sword. You have it."
"Huh?"
"The guests are scared of me. Stick close."
You and Galli nod, and tiptoe after BlueRose with your weapons raised. A few guests sniff at you, but Blue snarls, making them step back. When you look over your shoulder, you notice the guests are starting to mill around the exit, blocking your way out.
"Uh, Blue? You can get us back out, right?"
"Against a few, yeah. But there's too many of them there in too compact a space. For every one I scare off, three more would jump at you."
Eventually, you come to the Warden's Office. You turn the key in the lock, and the three of you walk in. You search the room, finding a keyring and some ammo.

Baliss got the Dungeon Keyring and 3 shotgun shells.
Warden's Key was added to the Dungeon Keyring.

You turn to Galli.
"Any idea how to get past the guests."
Blue chuckles.
"Oh, I know. I did a bit of... exploring around here. This way."
You follow Blue through a door in the back of the office, hidden behind some boxes. It leads to a large room, most of which is taken up by a large pit, aside from where you stand, and a small section of land on the other side of the pit. A bridge once joined the two, but it now balances precariously on the edge, the other side disappearing into nothingness. A ladder leads upwards on the other side, which Blue points to.
"That leads up to Skarzs' personal quarters. I'm guessing you don't want to go that way, but from the ladder, you should be able to get onto the catwalk. Now..."
Blue rolls her straitjacket into a cylinder, and jumps off the edge of the pit. She holds the jacket in front of her, catching it on a pipe, and disappears into the pit.
"See you in SolitaryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyOWCH!"
"..."
"I'm okay. Meet you there."
"Oooo...kaaaaayy..."
Galli points at the ladder.
"How do we get across? The bridge is practically ruined. Maybe we could try that vent..."

Walk across the bridge.
Crawl through the vent.

Baliss can easily crawl through the vents, once you get to the other side you can find a safer way to get Galli across.

You could always zap something with the growth ray, making the bridge bigger or the vent larger, but I think the best bet is to crawl the vent.

Groddil

"Hmm, any other ideas?"
"Aside from using the growth ray, not really."
"D'you reckon the ray'd work on that bridge?"
"It could, but then again, it does look pretty unstable. Might fall off if you try and enlarge it."
"Guess the vent it is, then."
Galli nods, and helps you pry off the vent cover.
"Ladies first?"
"Well go on, then."
You crawl into the vent, followed shortly by Galli. The vent is quite tight, and hot, but you manage to find the exit, and kick off the vent. You emerge on the other side of the pit. The ladder is right in front of you.
"Well, looks like that's the way to go."
You start to climb the ladder, Galli behind you, when something seems... wrong. The metal groans once you are about halfway up.
"Uhh, Galli? Somethings wrong."
"Hurry up, then."
You listen to Galli, and start climbing even faster. The strange noises get louder and louder, as you finally reach the hatch up to the maintenance catwalk. It's locked.
"Darn it, the bloody hatch is shut!"
"Do something!"

Smash the lock with your Scimitar.
Zap the lock with your Growth Ray.
Have Galli blast the lock with her shotgun.

There don't seem to be any perfect answers here. I don't see the scimitar doing any good, especially with Baliss wielding it.  If Galli is behind us on the ladder, then I'm not sure how she can get a clear shot at it with her shotgun. If we enlarge anything, it'll presumably fall down and hit us. Besides, the growth ray takes time to enlarge things, time that we might not have.

I'm not sure about it, but I guess try the shotgun?

Breaking through locks is not as easy as it sounds, especially if you're using a tool that isn't built for it, on a door above your head. I doubt most of you could do it. And Baliss in particular, who has terrible overall coordination and strength, would have less of a chance than most people.

Hickory

It's worth a try, at most you're loosing a weapon that hasn't and won't serve much purpose. The shotgun isn't particularly safe in such an enclosed area, and realistically, everyone would go deaf from it.
