The Spam option gave you another try, and the Gday option lets you purchase all of Groddil's stock and gives you a discount on Aussie-related items. The Passw0rd option would have let you purchase ammo and other special stuff, but not all of it (you wouldn't be able to get the electrocore, for instance). And if you'd said Viva la Revolution, a moderator would have appeared to attack you.

The Shrink Ray's been jury-rigged to run without an Electrocore, so it'd take more skill than you have to actually shove the Electrocore into it.

If you end up buying the Electrocore, you can fix the chainaxe immediately, or hold on to it until you actually find someone who can fix the shrink ray.

I thought the Chainaxe already had an electrocore, hence the debate a few pages back about whether we should remove it (frying its electronics ) to make the shrink ray, or just jury-rig the ray to work as a growth ray.

Edit: Okay, looking back, I got the Electrocore confused with the Quantum Carbonizer. So buying the electrocore wouldn't help with the shrink ray, just the chainaxe.

I went back over the last posts, and here's what happened.

In order to make the Chainaxe or the Shrink Ray, you needed an Electrocore. You got 1, and chose to put it into the shrink ray, meaning the chainaxe couldn't be fixed yet.

After that, you were informed that you needed a Quantum Carbonizer in order to fully complete the shrink ray. You could either destroy the chainaxe to get the Carbonizer, or jury-rig it. Therefore, in order to fix the Chainaxe, you need an electrocore, and in order to fix the Shrink Ray, you need a Quantum Carbonizer.
