That probably would have been a good plan, except for the fact that it allows Skarzs to grab the dart out of the air and throw it right back at you. You go limp, the growth ray slipping from your grip. You black out almost instantly.

"Well, that didn't end well for you. You got enough tranquilizer to knock out an elephant. Good thing you're a protagonist, huh?"
"What?"
"Nevermind. I grabbed the growth ray after you dropped it, but it doesn't work. Trigger's broken, you'll need to find a new one."
"Dang."
