Has anyone seen Moana yet?  I've been looking forward to it for months, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to see it - or even if I'll be able to see it in the theater.  It's apparently highly-rated, and the animation is gorgeous!

...especially in this trailer

You mean, . . .  It's out? o.O

Want to see it, might do so this week.

I'm mainly going to see it because it's Disney and usually Disney = good.
But to be honest I'm not very hyped because it just seems like two people meet eachother and go on a quest, which the trailers don't tell about...

Unless I've missed something!

Eulaliaaa!

As far as I know, it's about a little ocean girl who meets this demi-god guy and goes on a mission overseas to... ? Fight evil? Find her parents?... ?

Eh, I dunno. But Disney usually doesn't let us down, so I'll probably go see it.
Just pretend there is something interesting and unique written here... I have nothing to say.

The cool thing is, Maui is a demigod from actual Maori legends.  In one story, he went fishing, but instead of reeling in a fish, he pulled up the land of Aotearoa (New Zealand).  I thought for a while that New Zealand might feature in the movie, but now I'm not so sure.  I still really wanna see it.

Also, I think it's so cool that Auli'i Cravalho got discovered for this movie!  She was just an average fourteen-year-old before.

Cool thing is, Maui is my cat.

Your cat is named Maui, or your cat acts like Maui?

Both.

ALSO, I JUST SAW IT WITH MY FRIEND AND IT WAS AWESOME!
Really great music and character development.

Cool! :D

My mom keeps saying that instead of going to the theater, I should just save my money and rent it on DVD in a few months. :/  I hope this situation changes soon...

It's definitely worth it to see it in the theatre.

*Whispers* It's aimed at an older audience than Frozen.
