At last the Cristabel arrives at Bathurst. Passengers gather their things, nodding at allies or glaring at rivals as they depart.

Jane Carter checks that her travel papers and passport are in order. She breathes a sigh of relief that she had been able to obtain blank travel papers from another passenger while he'd been unconscious. Without it, there'd have been no hope of leaving the country. In a neat script, she writes out her real name, "Miranda Sharpe", on the papers before leaving her cabin. Thankfully, she'd been able to avoid capture, even with the bounty on her head that her rich father had placed when she'd run away. She frowns at the lightness of her purse, she hadn't managed to make enough money on board for a trip back to America, where her fiance Tom was waiting. She leaves, a camera swinging from her hand. She never did find out who it belonged to...

Dexter Fairchild curses quietly to himself as he leaves the boat. He had been unable to identify the Viper, despite confirmation from the outside that she was definitely on board. At least he was able to procure a bag of rubies, so the Germans wouldn't get their hands on it. The Idol of Bones had slipped his grasp though, as had any German technology. And what was with the French woman, asking him to "take care" of the German Doctor?? He was a British Spy, not some random merc! He disappears into the crowd, thinking about his blasted passport, with his real name, John Cannon, that he had lost. Luckily, being a master of disguise, whoever was holding it hadn't recognized him.

(Sam Ironheart was British Spy, who also secretly worked and smuggled for the criminal, Diamond Jack. He would've been easily bribe-able, since he needed money to pay off debts. He was searching for German technology (an order from the Britis), and rubies being smuggled (an order from Diamond Jack). Everything he found out was supposed to be reported back to Diamond Jack. He failed at all of this. His other goals were to be a Captain and protect the Christabel, which he did fairly well at.)

Joey Keene checks his pocket watch, and holsters his gun. What an eventful trip this had been for the British detective!  Such a pity he hadn't actually managed to capture any villains. Carter had turned out to be a runaway, not the Viper, but her bounty would've been enough to pay back his debts to Diamond Jack. He would've gotten away with locking Miss Sharpe in a chest until reaching Bathurst, if it hadn't been for that meddling Townhill. He curses under his breath at the priest, who had shot him and stolen some of his stuff while he'd been unconscious. Lucky for him, Overblow was there to patch him up. Good thing the professor had survived this trip, the detective would've been in huge trouble with his superiors.

Connor Mcdouglas, aka Angus McDougal, wanted for a murder he didn't commit, swaggers off the boat. Sure, he hadn't managed to clear his name or retrieve his real passport, but he wasn't dead. He'd sold that Idol of Bones, and the rubies he'd traded for, which meant he had just enough for a ticket out of the country. He wondered if he'd be able to apologize to the professor, or twist his arm a bit, until he gave up McDougal's passport. He probably shouldn't have shot at the man...

Marie Renard watches as her fellow passengers leave the boat. Her eyes linger on McDougal; the man hadn't made good on their deal, so she never did clear his name for him. She glares daggers at Dr. Schwartz. She'd received orders to kill him, but the man had somehow managed to survive her poisoned spiders. She supposed every assassin had their off days, even the Viper, whom she happened to be. She checks her bag, frowning. She hadn't gotten the rocket fuel formula, or the camera with the unfortunate evidence of her attempting to steal said formula. The professor, whom she was also supposed to off, had evaded her as well. She still had no idea who they were. Silently, she leaves the boat, and disappears into the crowd.
(Marie Renard: 0/4 goals completed)

Gabe Schwartz limps off the boat. His hands shake, the effects of the spider venom still lingering.  He checks his bag, the Idol of Bones weighs and a bag of rubies weighs it down. He's not really sure what he'll do with them; sell them in Bathurst, he supposes, since he hadn't been able to get money on board. A book of German codes disguised as an Agatha Christie novel is hidden away safely in his coat pocket. He really has no idea what to do with that. He looks around, wary for operatives of Diamond Jack. Being a smuggler and thief, Diamond Jack considered him a rival, and would do anything to get him out of the picture. He curses quietly to himself as he shuffles into the crowd, getting out of the country will be difficult without traveling papers...
(Gabe Schwartz: 1/3 goals completed)

(Caroline Tanner, who was supposed to be Banya's character, was secretly Diamond Jack. She wanted Overblow's notes, Townhill dead, and the ruby smuggling stopped. She also wanted the Idol of Bones)

Alex Thomas follows Keene off the boat nervously. This trip had been entirely too much excitement for him, he desperately wanted to get back to his lab, where there was peace and quiet, and he could be himself again. Not that his alias mattered, half the people on the boat had seemed to figure out rather quickly that he was really Professor Overblow. His rocket fuel formula was safely tucked away, and he was alive. That's all that really mattered. Before leaving the docks, he pauses a moment to dump some ashes from his handkerchief. What's left of John Cannon's passport floated down the Gambia. McDuglas really shouldn't have shot at him.
(Alex Thomas: 3/3 goals achieved)

Vic Townhill leaves in a hurry. All that had occurred must be reported back to his superiors. Being a German spy was risky business. It had paid off, a little bit. He gripped his bag tightly; in it was the Miniaturized Film Development Lab, which most only knew as a Heavy Black Device. What a pity he hadn't managed to get the rocket-fuel formula, his book of German codes, or his camera. During his chatting with the captain, he hadn't been able to determine if he could be turned into a double agent, and he hadn't been able to identify any other spies aboard the Christabel.
(Vic Townhill: 1/5 goals completed)

Thanks for playing, everyone! I'm sorry I took so long at the end, here. In terms of completing all your goals, it looks like Chipster is the winner!! Jane Carter came at a close second!! (Some people had more goals than others, varying in difficulty, so it's a little hard to decide who was really more successful.)

It was fun, even though I didn't accomplish any of my goals. :P We should do another one some time.
