Unfortunately, I think I have you beat. I can polish off a Redwall novel in the space of about 8 hours. But I might as well see if that still holds true.
Matthias720
Triss
(To be added later)
I happen to have a full free day later in the week, so I'll definitely try this!
Osu
The Rogue Crew
(Hmmm.... I think 12 hours is a reasonable goal for me.) Will be updated later!
Sounds like heaps of fun, and I'd love to be involved, but unfortnatly for me I have barely no free time and a very short attention span. Aren't cakes just so lovely....
I guess I'll try it. At least this will be another reason to read it. Sigh......I have so many books that I'm reading at the moment...
HeadInAnotherGalaxy
Redwall
(To be Added Later)
Ever since I was a kid and read my first few Redwall stories, starting, I believe, with Mossflower, I've always been able to do it in about three to four hours, tops.
Wow, you guys read fast! :o
All right, I'll add you guys up there! :D
Trisscar95
Mattimeo ( the longest book)
Time aiming for: 9hrs. Time it took: 6hrs. 45min.
Alright Trisscar, I'll add you! I'm guessing thats your favourite book?
No my favorits Triss, but I like reading and what better to read then Brian Jacques Saga?
put to perfect words mah wee bonnie lass!
Top post looks great! I have a quick question: does the timing include breaks between reading, or is it just the time spent reading?
I guess I'm in.... I think I could read one in... about a week.
I read Rogue Crew in a couple of days, started on Loamhedge last week, and now I'm on Rakkety Tam. I'm lucky enough to be only halfway through the series, and I really shouldn't read too fast, because what happens when I'm finished? Oh, yeah, start over again!
Just six more go ( and I stopped reading chronologically after Legend of Luke...as in publishing date...)
Screen name: Captain Tammo
Book I'm going to read: rakkety tam (hav'nt read that one in a while)
Estimated time: 3-4 days
Actual time: to be determined.
Screenname: Nature Lover
Book your going to read: Redwall
Estimated time: 6 hours (Without breaks) 3 days (with breaks)
Actually time: 6 hr. 36 min. (Without breaks) 2 days (with breaks)
Name: Musician, Redwall Musician
Book: Martin the Warrior
Est. Time: 3 days
Real time: to be known later.
So, from this, I gather it includes the breaks?

I dunno where Martha went, but I'm not going to include breaks. I'm gonna time myself per chapter since my free day went kaput. ;D

Fair enough. I'll put one up not including breaks then.
I read Taggerung in one day; and I wasn't even reading it straight through. I read Redwall so much that my punishment is no reading!

Noooo! Such a punishment - this is terrible and unheard of! No reading? :'( You must have suffered so. ;D
....in just one day? Wow, I a lot of people seem to have done this. I must try it some time...
I read about 4/5's of a series in one day, and they were pretty thick, about 220-300 pages long. I think I read about 5 of them. Very good, especially because they were about Australian football. :)
I read Mariel of Redwall in one day. I was at a Family Christmas party, and I got kinda bored, so...
I used to read the books as fast as I could, but now I'm trying to read them more slowly to enjoy them more and get a better understanding
Yeah, since Brian Jacques died, I've been trying to svor every paragraph of the books so they aren't over too fast.
Sheesh, I didn't know Redwall fans were such speed readers. The fastest I ever read a book was "Taggerung" in 2 days, from early morning one day to just before midnight the next. The idea that anyone could clear the mammoth "Mattimeo" in one day boggles my mind.
Mattimeo was short to me. I don't know, I just wish it had lasted longer. It was really good.
Screen Name: GeminyaTome
Book: Taggerung
Time: Less than 24 hours
I'd completely forgotten about this topic.
It took me 8 1/2 hours (collectively) to read Triss.
It took me about three weeks to read Redwall (the first book)
Me, too. I was only 9, so I read kinda slow.
Hosnap, I stopped timing myself during the Rogue Crew in favor of grabbing Legend of Luke. D:
Okay, gonna have to modify my original entry for another book, now. ;) Maybe Eulalia or High Rhulain or Bellmaker.... hmm...
My reading the book (Martin the Warrior) really fast went down the drain. Been so busy. Why? I hate being busy. I'll have to wait until I have some free time.

This. This exactly. =_=
(I love your new icon! 8D) I probably won't get to this again until Christmas.
I read loamhedge in one day LOL. Poke yall
I read The Bellmaker two days ago. It took me three hours.
i when to bed at twelve read until 6 and finished the book
I think I could read one in one day, if I had that much free time. But, I know I couldn't read one in three hours! How do you do it Nightfire?
I have way to many things going on to let me read for a hour, let alone the whole day. Pets, chores, school, checking this forum, people. I would think if I had the whole day to read it would take me maybe 5-6 hours.
ah read High Rulan in about 5 hours. :o ah read fast dough :-X

It's possible if you're a FAST reader. I am quite fast, I read a book with 625 pages in a few hours, like 3 or something. I'm superhuman. ;D
I'll have to read another Redwall book again and time myself.

:o :o How do you guys do that?!?! I have a lot of time on my hands and I can't even finish Loamhedge! It's taken me like 4 weeks already!
I finished The Hunger Games in two days.,
It's harder to re-read books. Like, it took me only 3 days to finish Redwall the first time. The next time it took me waaaayyyy longer. It's just not as exciting the second time through.
Oh. I wouldn't know, I don't think I've ever re read a book before.

Really?!?! There's one book I've read about six times now, I could practically quote it! I re-read books all the time.
Yes, really, Lol. I re watch movies and tv shows, but I rarely re read books.

Same. I've read 'Triss' about eight times, and counting. I'll take the challenge for Loamhedge. I'll post my results.

I skim read each time, so each time I read it's like reading a new book. I re-read books ALL the time..... I also read new books ALL the time!! I really like reading. ;)
Hear, hear!
I'll start Loamhedge soon.
Loamhedge is great! I love the Dreaded Bragoon and Saro song.
