Question:
Should we fight varmints to get the box?
Option 1: Yes.
Option 2: No.
Memm Flackery was trying to hande the unruly pack of Dibbuns entrusted to her by several Abbeybeast parents. Several were fighting with sticks, while others were trying on kitchen tools as armor. She sighed. This would be harder than she thought. Memm decided to use a Adventure, to give the dibbuns something to do. She explained, as quick as possible, so the Dibbuns wouldn't run away.
"The sword of Martin the Warrior was lost! Can you find it? Tell the Friar to lend you his dullest knives, and grab some "swords", armor, and bows! Quick to it, the Abbot doesn't want to sword missing!"
OOC: So, this is not going to be full of fighting, it's more of, well, an adventure! So we can start in the orchard, and work our way through the grounds. I'll dictate when we have a band of vermin blocking our path. Let's start!
OOC: Since I don't know exactly where we will be starting and just about everyone isn't going to begin this RP, I figure I will begin,
BIC: The afternoon sun warmed the earth were a young squirrel played on the grounds of Redwall. Throwing a stick in the air and catching it with his feet he preformed several flips and twirls only to land on his head.
Checking around to make sure no one had seen his fall he continued swinging the tough stick like a sword. His ear twitched as he heard a mass of the other youngsters at Redwall, also known as Dibbuns flood though the main door and rush towards the Abbey Orchard.
Running quickly to catch up Cai yelled and waved his stick trying to make sense of the excitement.
Aaron the otter was one Dibbun in the mass that was headed to the Orchard, where Memm Flackery had said the first clue of the quest resided. He yelled to Cai, whom he had just seen. "Hi, Cai, come wiv us and we go onna quest!" Aaron waved his "weapon" and descended back into the main body.
OOC: So we head to the orchard, the first clue is there.
Skilbury made his way along with the large crowd of dibbuns. A tiny badger, he tripped and tumbled along, holding a majestic "sword". Realizing he was falling behind, he ran ahead of the group, only to fall again. He got up and sighed.
"Wii ya' wait jus' a minude?" He said as he hurried along.
Minkel Ran along at the head of the crowd a wooden ladle in one paw and her other paw cling to the handle of her salad bowl helmet to it from bouncing off as she ran. In her hast she tripped over her smock and tumbled down the little hill landing at the base of a tree with a bump. "Ah'm OK!" She said bouncing back up like a cricket.
Kale Merchybrush was very, very, very excited! He and a bunch of other Dibbuns were going on an adventure. Running in the middle of the pack of Dibbuns, he almost, but not quite, tripped over his knife. Then the young squirrel heard, "Wii ya' wait jus' a minude?" Kale slowed down and waited for Skilbury the badger to catch up him. "Hiya, mate!" ale said cheerfully. "Whatcha fink de clue bes?"
"I'm wisin' I knude." Replied Skilbury. He looked at the squirrel. "I 'ope it's an apple. Or a pear. Or any kind o' food. I do wove food."
Aaron, located nearby, rolled his eyes and remarked, "I think it somefink else. Memm says we shoudn't eat the evidence."
Arnim ran along with the rest of the Dibbuns, a few of them were talking about the clue, wondering what it was going to be. Personally, Arnim thought the clue would be rather ordinary, something written on parchment. He kept running.
"Hi everybodies!" The little mousemaid Bluebell said, walking towards her friends. "Whatcha doin'?"
"Lookin' for Matin's Sord!" Chattered Jarvey Schinickle, who had been in the initial group of Dibbuns. "Now, I tink dat tha' sord might be inna tree, b'cause nobody would look inna tree for it." he said.
OOC: I'm having trouble remembering so many names aaagh!
BIC: "I'll look." Cai yelled throwing aside his stick he jumped up into the leafy branches of the trees searching among the branches. Finding nothing in the first tree he attempted to jump to another one nearby, falling short he landed heavily on Minkel. Laying stunned for a second he bounced back up, shaking his head.
"I'll help you look," said Arnim. He climbed up an apple tree and started to search its many branches for anything unusual.
Shooting Star, a Falcon chick, had been trying out the Friar's cooking tools as armor with the other dibbuns. To her disappointment, they were rather heavy and weighed her down. How will I be a master flyer wi' all this stuff on me?
Suddenly, she jerked up her tiny, brown-and-white feathered head at the sound of Memm Flackery's call:
The sword of Martin the Warrior was lost! Can you find it? Tell the Friar to lend you his dullest knives, and grab some "swords", armor, and bows! Quick to it, the Abbot doesn't want to sword missing!
The pot she had been wearing on her head like an armor hat fell off the ground and rolled to the side as Star (as she was nicknamed) flew up to Memm eagerly. "Is that so? How exciting! Where? Where was it lost? Now, wait..." She cocked her head to one side, suddenly looking skeptic and wondering. "Why you ask us to look for it? Usually it's the big beasts, the big warriors! They do all da important things."
Augustus scowled and said "Da big beasts be bezy!" at the falcon. He marched to the other dibbuns and waved his bow around. "Come on, get wid yer! We hafta find Marin's Sord!" Puffing up his chest like a Long Patrol recruit.
Memm had arrived at the orchard. She smiled at the antics of Cai and Arnim looking at the sword. The harenurse chuckled and said aloud, "Martin's sword is much too sharp to stay in the tree, it would cut the branches. Maybe the clue is in a box..." This set flame to another hearty search.
OOC: Who's your dibbun Sagey?
Augustus stared at Memm Flackery and hugged her. "Thanks Miz Flackerty, we need sum help." He looked at the other dibbuns and ran in a random direction, falling flat on his face.
OOC: Aaron. I posted with him earlier.
BIC: Aaron raced off. "A box? C'mon, let's look!" He proceded to glance around the orchard, looking for the sheen of a polished wooden box.
Augustus got up and continued looking in the Orchard.
Bluebell giggled with excitement as she walked over to the dibbuns. "Anybody find it yet?" She asked, looking around.
"I knew it wuz inna box, I wuz jus' seein' if'n you knew."Said Jarvey proudly, before following Augustus deeper into the Orchid. "Ooo, a Capertiller!"
OOC: Yea, this is fine, just ease up a little on the accents.
BIC: Aaron, instead of checking the trees, was looking at the ground, studying the various small holes for signs of a box.
Arnim jumped down from the apple tree. "How big is the box, Memm?" he asked.
"About a quarter the width of one of the wallstones, Arnim. If you Dibbuns need help, there's a riddle I have to help find the box."
Kale had grinned at his badger friend, then helped look in the trees. But when Memm announced that she had a helpful riddle, the squirrel raced over to her. "A riddle, Memm? Wot bes it?" He asked, tugging on her sleeve to get her attention.
Memm smiled. "Here it is."
It's been put away,
I know not where.
A hidden place,
next to a pair.
OOC: If you can't figure it out (I hope you can) I can give a clue.
"A pear?" asked Jarvey curiously. "There's a lotta pears here in the orchid." The little Shrew peered into some of the branches. "There's h'a pear right there."
OOC: Does someone just randomly decide to find the clue?
BIC: "pear?" Cai asked, "Wut kind,?" Scrambling up one of the many pear trees Cai pulled on one of the young fruits free letting it fall into the crowd of dibbuns. "Oops."
Kale thought for a minute. Next to a pear? Or pair? There's lotsa pears. . . . He was startled out of his thoughts by a pear falling right beside his footpaw. Scowling, he looked up, and saw his friend Cai.
OOC: I guess, but I'm not sure. *Looks at Sagey*

Augustus scowled and said "Da big beasts be bezy!" at the falcon.
"You don'
know that," Star retorted. She started flying around, thinking about the riddle. "Pear, pear, can be on a tree or fallen on da ground." She weaved around branches that held the fruit. "But it also says it's hidden! Somewhere secret, maybe."
OOC: Yes. But it is next to a pair of pears. Let's just say there are only a few pear trees.
BIC: Aaron leapt across the ground to the next tree, quickly scanning the branches. "I fink it might be inna... inna..." Aaron suddenly found the word. "Inna crook of a branch!"
"Hah." said Jarvey dismissively. "It's not inna crook, it's in one of those little 'V's that are inna tree," he said pointing. "Like that one right there."
"Do you sees it, Aaron?"Bluebell said looking up at the tree hopefully. "What if a vurmint got it afore us? Vermints are sneaky, ya knows"
OOC: So now we decide to fight or not.
"How would vermin get in da Abbey? Well, beyond the gate." Star shivered, looking a bit unsettled despite herself. "But I must be brave!" The tiny falcon started flying to the V-shaped crook very cautiously.
OOC: Is it there?
OOC: So it depends. If we choose to fight the vermin, then it's not, ad they have it, but if we don't and fight them later, then yes. Three people need to vote, but we might have to continue without them.
OOC: Looks like we are going to fight them!
Star got to the V-shaped crook. "It's not here, you all!" she cried, flying in place.
Kale, after aiming a 'Wotcha do dat for?!" at Cai, wandered around the Orchard, looking under bushes and behind trees.
OOC: Just wondering, but s it alright if Kale finds it? What would the clue be, anyways? Parchment with writing?
OOC: So the vote says we fight. Kale can find it, but when they start to leave the vermin attack. The clue is a box.
OOC: Okay. Kale and/or anyone else can find the box. But who ever does it first must also post that their character sees the vermin advancing. Are we clear?
Minkle ran over to the base of the tree and started running around it, suddenly she tripped over something between the two pare treas. It was a box. She picked it up and looked it over shaking it to see if it made any noise. Then it hit her, It was the clue! "Ah foundedid it! Ah found da clue!" She shouted The she looked across the orchard and started jumping up and down pointing at something that wasn't there. "Vermint! Vermint dey wan't our box!" She started running in circles again waving her ladle "Dey nasty vermink, We chopick dare tails off an trow dem off da wall! Tickle dem ta deff and feed em to da pike fish!"
"Where are they vermints, Minkle? I don't sees em," Bluebell asked, clutching the little spoon.
Star panicked, flying around in circles while whipping her feathered head to and fro. "Vermin? Where? WHERE??"
OOC: How do we know if we can see them or not?
OOC: So we'll make an assumption that the vermin are enering the orchard from the south, where Minkle was facing when she picked up the box. There's gonna be a score of them.
BIC: Aaron drew his weapon and warily moved toward the varmints, not wanting to provoke them. Their leader called out to Minkle, "You! Yea, you. Hand o'er the box thingy. Now!"
"Neva!" She said holding the box close to her and shaking her ladle at him "diss here es Matains sward! an... "Then she remembered that Martins sword was missing so she couldn't have it " Yew guggie Vermink, dis 'ere es Minkles sward! an yew all tastedid ma steel ef'en yew try an take diss box!" She shouted in challenge.
Roaring with anger, the vermin leader charged with his imaginary bad of villains. Aaron took up a baby version of the en guard position and prepared to fight the enemy.
Star streaked down from the sky, tackling the vermin leader to the ground and proceeding to slash him with her piercing talons.
Augustus took out two vermin with his bow while calling out "Come on! We hafta protect tha box from tha vurmints!"
"Don let 'em gets it! Redwalls!!" Bluebell shouted as she shook her spoon and ran towards the others. Her war cry was soon muffled as she tripped on her smock and hit the ground.
Rather than aiming specifically at the imaginary vermin, Jarvey was swinging his stick around, hitting any other dibbuns that came towards him on the head.
Augustus got hit in the head and missed, barely missing Aaron in the face by accident.
OOC: I've done the edit.
OOC: Ash, don't get violent, we don't want friendly fire. Remember, we're Dibbuns. It would be best to say that you missed, and that was your last arrow. Besides, the vermin are imaginary, you couldn't use arrows on them any way.
BIC: Aaron dodged a vermin sword thrust and dispatched his enemy, lightly pushing Menkle back. "Get outta da way, da vermin want ye."
Cai jumped up and down on his tree branch hurling chucks of bark down upon his foes, Yelling all the while.
Skilbury, the ever unpunctual, caught up with the dibbuns. Having no idea what so ever of what was going on, he started to attack random things that his "comrades" seemed to be fighting. Holding up his stick, he charged into battle.
"'RGGGG!"
Then tripped on a root.
"Umph."
Tumbled for a few feet.
"Rugalugaluggalug."
Got up, and started swinging at imaginary vermin.
Arnim waved his stick above his head and charged. "For Redwall!!!" he yelled, in his squeaky high-pitched voice.
Bluebell got up with a small moan, pawing gingerly at her dirty face. "Owww. The grounds is harder dan it looks!" Bluebell said, then walked carefully over to join the other dibbuns in the imaginary fight.
OOC: So people who haven't posted yet for the fight need to, and if yu don't want to than we can continue.
OOC: Well, excuuuuuse me for not having time. . . . .
BIC: Kale was happily roaring "Reeeeddwaaaaalllllssssssssss!!!" while attacking 'vermin' with his knife. But the little squirrel didn't really know how to use it properly, so he mainly slapped the 'vermin' with the flat of the blade and stabbed them.

Sorry, it's just I don't want to leave people without a chance to fight, but I don't want to drag out the fight scene either. Faiy, if you want to fight just set the box down and fight. Memm will take care of it. ;D
"Did we get them all?" Star asked, flying over the scene to get a view.
Aaron surveyed the corpses littering the ground with a watchful eye. "I fink so. Menkle, bring dabox up, we can lookit it."
"Aye, lettus see dabox Menkel!"
"Et's my box, I found et," She said pulling away from the others sticky fingers (Sticky in a figurative sense) and plopped down under the tree to open it. She slowly opened the box and peeked inside.
Inside was a plannk of wood, but it had been carved to look like a replica of Martin's Sword. Inscribed on its blade, instead of I AM THAT IS, was "srallec".
Aaron, mystified, looked to the others. "What?'
Minkle took out the sword from the box and tossing the box aside and began waving it around. "I'ts a sword!"
Aaron, ever the thoughtful said, "We know that, But wat does it mean?"
Minkle stopped and blinked a few times as is sunk in, It had not occurred to her that it could mean anything out side of being a sword. She took a closer look at it and by some from of dibbuns luck she held it so that the letters where upside down. "It sess, cellars," She said skipping the riddle all together.
OOC: I thought it would be harder. Oh well :P
BIC: Aaron, taking the word as an immediate cue, speed off to the cellars, nearly hitting Memm Flackery as she returned with her afternoon tea.
OOC: You are talking to the person who has been writing that said same word over and over and over again till it no longer has any meaning at all and my fingers start to trip over each other. XD I can't speak fro the others but I have an excuses for why it was so easy. ;D :P
BIC:
Minkle ran after Aaron shouting with glee, ladle in one paw and sword in the other.
Not actually knowing what was going on, Sadie rushed to join the other Dibbuns.
"Wait for me!" she shouted, not wanting to get left behind.

OOC: Heh. Heh. Heh. Heh.
BIC: Through Great Hall, past Cavern Hole, and after the Kitchen sat the Cellars, the Dibbuns destination. Aaron skidded to a halt when he reached the doorway, dark and foreboding (the lanterns weren't lit)
OOC: So some one can be the Cellar hog, if you want.
OOC: I'll do it. Just give me a name and tell me when he should come in.
BIC: Sadie came to an abrupt stop when they reached the doorway. "Wot are you doing?", she asked.
Bluebell stood in the orchard for a moment, a little mystified, then ran after the other dibbuns to the cellars. "Strange dibbuns, why they thirsty all a sudden? We've got a big job ta do."
Arnim ran after the other Dibbuns, but tripped over a bucket as he neared the cellars. Undaunted, he jumped up and sprinted the rest of the way.
Star flew after the other dibbuns, calling, "Come on, everybody! An' also, what are we lookin for in da cellars?"

OOC: Ok, just hae him turn a corner and say what are you doing, blah blah blah, and he needs to turn on the lanterns.
BIC: Aaron glanced around. "Da wooden sword said the cellars, but where?" He proceeded to look in corners and between barrels.
"I ain't afeered o no dark stairses! I have a sword!"Minkle said bravely jumping down on to the first step turning back and sticking out her tongue teasingly at the others. "Beet dat! Bet yew to scared ta!"
For a brief moment Aaron hesitated, then jumped down two steps.
Arnim, who had arrived at the top of the stairs, jumped three steps. "I just beated both of ya!"
Cai carefully jumped down the steps, coming beside Arnim he stopped, peering down into the dark cellars.
"H'i don like being unner ground." He said his eyes big.
"I kin go farther!" Minkle sang as she jumped past them all down to the fourth step, tripped on her smock and went tumbling down the last three steps to the bottom. "I win!" She cried back up from out of the darkness.
Kale didn't really know what was going on, so he just stayed quiet and watched. When Minkle fell down the steps, he called, "You awwight? Anything bees hurtin'?"
Sadie jumped down five stairs. "Beat that!"
A plump hedgehog came to see what all the ruckus was about. "What do ye want, you little rascals? Ye nearly trampled poor old Memm Flackery!" he said as he lit the lanterns.
aron and his friends, grateful for the light, continued searching with renwed vigour while Memm explained the game to the Cellarhog.
"We know it's in da cellars, but is there another clue?" asked Star, flying around the room and searching in random places.
Jarvey, finally catching up after the battle with the vermin fell down the stars, crashing into Kale at the bottom. "What're we lookin' for now?"
"Somethin' in the cellars!" replied Star. "Maybe the sword, or another clue, who knows?"
"Memm, ith there another clue down here?" asked Arnim.
Memm Flackery had gained much amusement from the Dibbuns as they searched. After putting down her laughter, she held up a finely made case, a mussel shell hinged at the back with a hardwood clasp at the front. "Our Abbot found this beautiful container in the gatehouse. It is said to have once belonged to Abbess Tansy; it used to hold six pearls. Many travelers have brought similar shells back to the Abbey, many have been made into cases. Maybe one of those cases holds the next clue."
OOC: Sorry if you wantted another riddle, I'm just not the best riddle maker. Maybe next time.
"Do you really thinks theirs a clue in dere, Memm?" Bluebell asked, her eyes wide with amazement that the box had belonged to Abbess Tansy.
The harenurse smiled deceptively. "Of course. Abbess Tansy and her friends searched for the six pearls that belong in this case. The first clue was in it. Maybe that'll be the case for our next clue."
Kale hadn't really realized that Jarvey bumped into him, and had been searching eagerly. "Open it up, pwease! Lessee what's innit!" He squealed.
"Yeah, open it," said Star, "Why wait any longer?" She finished her sentence with a twitch of her wings.
OOC: Memm is just holding up an empty box. We have to look for something like it in the cellars. Sorry.
OOC: Oh, ok ;)
BIC: Star flew around The Cellars, looking out for an identical box.
OOC: [sarcasm]Well, then, Kale will just go from asking someone to open a box to searching the Cellars. Yeah, no problem there! [/sarcasm]
BIC: Since Memm didn't open the case, Kale pouted and wandered off, looking behind barrels and in dark corners.
OOC: Keep calm; it's just a misunderstanding.
OOC: Is this thread still open.
OOC: No, sorry.
Sorry, Corn. It's just that it might be to weird to have the dibbuns go into the cellars just to get it from Memm.
This is where squirrel characters come in handy.
BIC: Aaron quickly scanned the room for a case. A glint of metal caught his eye; the clasp! Alas, it was located high up. The only way to get it was to climb on the barrels.
OOC: Star can fly, but I don't know how well she can grip the box in her talons since they are rather small.
OOC: Okay. Let's say the barrels are convienently placed so everyone can climb up to the case. But I don't want Aaron to do it, and it seems like not many people are posting...
"Are we gonna open it?" Bluebell giggled, looking around at her group of friends hopefully.
Aaron hopped up the barrels and snatched the case from the walll crevice it was stuck in. Returning to the floor, he reverently opened the case.
Inside was a small scroll of paper. Aaron, having not yet learned to read, passed the papr to Memm, who read it aloud.
Inside me,
you'll find part of next.
but I,
is the part you add.
The end of in,
you take away,
to find the next place.
OOC: Should anybody need help with the answer, just ask.
Skilbury, thinking he had a stoke of genius, said aloud quickly: "ITS MARTINS GRAVE!!!" Then after some thought and a few glances from the others, he piped down.
OOC: The riddle is the instructions to an anagram.
OOC: Oh help, I'm horrible at these.
BIC: Kale thought about the riddlre for a moment, twirling his tail. "Ooh, ooh, issit 'mine'?" He asked, jumping up and down excitedly.

Aaron shook his head vigourously. "Nah, they didn't say that a M was innit."
"Inside me... you'll find part of next," Star murmured, hoping the other dibbuns would help her solve the riddle, "That could be nex or ext or...something else. I don't even know if I'm doing this right!"
OOC: Do you need help? I'm not good at making riddles.
OOC: No, you actually make great riddles. I'm just not good at solving them ;D A little hint may be nice.
Cai who was still feeling cramped and nervous being underground in the cellars held up a paw. His usually confident cheerful voice etched slightly with worry.
"I fink its inna infirmary." He said shyly not to sure if he was actually correct.

BIC: While the Dibbuns had been searching, a large ottermaid by the name of Sleeve entered the cellars. She had been observing the Abbey for days, having been one of the slaves liberated from Riftgard. She had heard the rhyme being spoken and said her part now.
"Hi there. Seems like you're having trouble with that riddle. Let me help."
Pulling out a sheet of paper, the kindly ottermaid wrote four letters on it.
e
x t
n
"That spells next, right? So what's the next line... 'But 'I' is the part you add next. So add 'I'to it."
e
i t
n x
"What does the next line say?
"Da end of in ye take away to find da next place," Star replied.
Sleeve nodded. "So take away that letter."
e
x i
t
"What words are in those letters."
"Exit, exit!" Star yelled, then flew around in circles from pure ecstasy.
Indeed, the only exit from the cellars was up throught he kitchen and into the dormitories. Sleeve hurried off with her squirrel friend Triss.
Star flew after the grown beasts into the dormitories. "Now, what're we looking for?" she asked, flying in place and looking about.
With easy logic, Aaron repliedd airily. "Unner da bed, of course, everybeast hides ometink there."
Kale grinned, then started crawling around under the beds.
OOC: My apologies for the horrible post - I'm not feeling well.
OOC: Hope you feel better soon, Corny ^^
Arnim jumped from bed to bed, moving the pillows out of the way so he could see underneath them.
Aaron was now fully under the bed, his paw groping around for something. For a brief second, the paw rested on a metal object, then it continued its arc under the bed. Realizing he had found something, the otter tried to find it again, but he couldn't.
Augustus had followed them into the dorms. He went into one bed, and started looking under the sheets.
"Wha' is it?" Star asked, swooping down to help Aaron but crashing into the bed. "Ouch."
The otterbabe grumbled. "I fink I felt sometink unda dere, but I'm not sure."
Star looked around. "Ah probably can't get under dere if you can't. Everybeast! There's somethin' under da bed!"
"Wha is it, Star?" Bluebell asked, running into the dormitory. "Do you wan me to reach it for you?"
"Yes please, my friend!" Star yelled, flying upwards out of the way so Bluebell could get through.
"Ok!" Bluebell said as she crawled her way under the bed and grabbed the box in her tiny paws. She wiggled her way back, nearly hitting her head on the bed post. "Here ya go, friend."
"Ye okay? Thanks!" Star hopped forward as if she was a songbird rather than a falcon, approaching the object daintily. "Somebeast open it."
OOC: Aaron's been opening to much stuff here, anybody fancy opening it?
OOC: Sure, just tell me one thing: What is ale finding?
OOC: A box.
Aaron opened the box and groaned. It was another riddle. He read it out.
You've traveled acoss
many a stone.
Yet more there is,
so do not groan!
A blind badger,
near my sword.
She sleeps on,
never to rise again.
Talk to the descendant,
the one with the pendant.
Go!
To Tussock, I say.
The Dibbuns stared in askance at each other, clueless. THen one, a shy haremaid named Pasque, spoke up. "H'excuse me, but my favver's favver and his favver beofre him all go by da name of Tussock. My great great great great grandsire was named Tammelo deFformelo... uh, Tussock. Yeah, Tussock. And my favver has a pendant, tho' I fink it's actually a medal. Maybe we should talk to him..."
"Well, then?" said Star, cocking her head and grinning as best as she could with a beak instead of a mouth, "Let's go tae him! Where he be?"
Memm thought for a moment, then replied. "The Tussock family is staying here for the season... their dormitory is just down the hall.
Cheering, the Dibbun horde moved off down the hall. The only occupant in the other room was a teenage hare, the son of Pasque's father, by the name of Lynum. He smiled upon seeing her, Memm and the other Dibbuns. "What brings you here today?" he asked. Memm explained, with several additions by the Dibbuns, the quest. The older hare noddded understnadingly. "Yes, the pendantis right here." Lynum opned a drawer in the bedside table and pulled out the medal.
It glowed in the light, a solid gold medallion set with a bluejohn. They all admired it, then Lynum put it back in the drawer. "Sorry to say, but I'm sure that the medallion doesn't hold a clue for you. Now, the second part... Abbot Apodemus has been telling me about the recent history of the Abbey. Not long ago, a blind badgermum by the name of Cregga was killed by a vermin shaft and buried in the grounds. She is the only blind badger to ever have been at the Abbey. Checking her grave is the best thing to do."
OOC: I am so, so sorry! RL got in the way.
BIC: "C'mon, whatta we waitin' for? Le's go!" Kale cheered, before running for the door. Then e had a thought, and ran back. Tugging on Lynum's tunic, the squirrel said, "Thank you!" before running for the door again.
"Yes, thank ye!" Star chirped as if she was a songbird rather than the falcon she was. She flew after Kale, feeling the air rush by her tiny wings.
Lynum watched them go, a small smile on his face. Dibbuns, he thought. Aways roused by small things.
Kale threw the door open and ran down the hallway, assuming the rest of the Dibbuns were following him. He was pretty sure Star at least was.
OOC: No worries Corny :) I've been a bit busy too
BIC: Bluebell skipped after her friends, not really sure where they were going but very excited for another clue.
OOC:Thanks for hanging on and posting with me. ;)
BIC: At the gravestone, the Dibbuns gathered around and inspeccted it. Aaron ran his paw over the top, finding nothing.

OOC: Erg. I'm thinking of making this the last clue, so make it a thin slate os stone. He'll pick it up, then Memm'll read the riddle on it.
Kale bent down to see what he'd hit, and gasped. "Isa rock wivva writin's onnit! Read it, read it, Memm!" He called excitedly, grapping the piece of slat and showing it to the kindly hare.
OOC: INCREEDIBLY SORRY I haven'g gotten to this earlier.
BIC: Memm brushed off some stone dst from the slate. Squinting here eyes, she read aloud.
"Found my last clue,

My sword is last,
for you to discover.
Strapped behind,
the back of a friend.
They are the one's
who'll finish your quest."
