Did you have an MP3 player?

Yes, I'm extremely nostalgic for early aughts tech, mostly because smartphones have completely wiped it off the map.

I still have my first MP3 player, bought after painstakingly saving up absurdly low amounts of cash (down to individual cents!) from my after school job handing flyers. It was AMAZING being able to control which songs played and how often.

What about you?

I've had MP3 Players in the past, and I still actually have one now! Makes a nice backup for when anything has happened to my phone--my main music platform is Spotify. The Player I have is a nice 8GB Victure-M5X, V1.1.0.2-C.

Yo, nice!

I also like to keep back-ups of my music :)

I believe some of them are still made. I no longer have mine; as I am forgetful, I accidentally washed my clothes with it in a pocket.

They're useful devices. I might buy one again to help me unplug from my phone.
I've been looking back over these past few months, and I've felt off. Felt different. At the time, I wanted nothing more than to go back to the good old days.
But now? Could I just ignore all the ways I've suffered and grown? Caught hold and let go? Could I return from life, having now lived?

-Sometime later, the second mate was unexpectedly rescued by the subplot, which had been trailing a bit behind the boat (and the plot). The whole story moved along.
