Zey 'ad a notice zayin' fer ze auditionz tae bring yer ovn monologue zat ye've memorised. Ah read it und zought zey meant ye vrote yer ovn monologue, memorised it, und zen did it fer ze audition. Zae Ah vrote a monologue zat 'ad a Raven zat vaz repeatedly zayin' 'Nevermore.' und memorised it. Ah gaet tae ze auditionz und found zat everyvone elze vaz uzin' monologuez from variouz zourcez zat zey 'ad nae vritten zemzelvez- vone kid vaz daein' ze monologue from Rowan Atkinson'z Toby Ze Devil zketch. Vhen it came me turn, afore Ah did it Ah admitted zat Ah'd gaetten ze notice vrong und zought zey 'ad meant ve 'ad tae create our monolgouez razer zan uzin' vone from a previouz zource, und zen Ah did me monologue. Evidently ze director loiked it, becauze Ah gaet a part in ze play.

Iz it any vonder Ah ended up an Englizh major...?

I love this place. It's not super active anymore, but it's still a wonderful, cozy little corner of the internet that I'll always come back to, and there are so many other members from days gone by that come back too. It's not as if there's a limited amount of space on the internet and if we stick around, newer, maybe better things can't be born. I think we should always leave the gates open. Maybe it'll sink into a coma for years at a time, but one day someone's going to come back and find joy in old memories of good times, and leave a little message on the Front Lawns so the next person who wanders in can see they're not the only ones who love it.
