Ooc: It didn't, just wondering what to do.

Bic: Adrain rushed forward, and tried an old tactic, he slid, and brought his dirk up.

Asara remembered this move from earlier and managed to skip back out of the way- and trip on loose rubble. Fairly launching to her paws, the hare tried to get ready for another attack, berating herself as she did so. Blast it- she shouldn't have gone on the defensive right away, it was giving Adrain an advantage.

OOC: Oh, good. :)
A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of woes and shattered shields, when the age of men comes crashing down! But it is not this day! This day we fight!

Adrain pulled out his mace and held his dirk. He twisted the mace, and used it to propel himself. At the last second he swung the mace down. Perhaps he could capture her saber and stab her.

Asara swept her saber upwards in an attempt to deflect the mace, but fell neatly into Adrain's trap. The heavier mace trapped her saber underneath it- but as she was swinging it up at the time, the force was strong enough to snap her blade cleanly in half. She stared at it, flabbergasted, for a moment, then let out a stream of curses. "Flippin' bloomin' blasted twice-cursed mace- a blight on all flamin' blacksmiths and their lollop-eared, flabby-pawed over-eager apprentices!"

Adrain vaulted forward and stabbed the hare through the stomach.

Asara gasped, speechless again, though for different reasons this time. The blade sticking out of her middle might have something to do with it. Clutching her stomach and lurching forward, the hare managed to lean herself against Adrain's shoulder. "You're h'a perilous beast, wot... Eulalia, eh, h'ol' chap?" After these breathless utterances, the former lieutenant collapsed, eyes already clouding over.

Thus ended the life of Asara Colinford, lieutenant of the Long Patrol. May she find her way easily to the Dark Forest, where the silent streams run through ever-sunny glades.

"As we bid ye now farewell,
We promise your face we will recall
At the ringing of the old church bell,
And whispers of your name.
Tonight we'll raise a glass or two
To honor your sacrifice
And murmur a fond adieu
To the one we loved so well."

OOC: Haha- sorry for the super-depressing nature of this post. The poem just kinda... happened. :D Anyway, congrats! You won!

OOC: Thanks- and thank you too, Blaggut! It was fun and fair, the best combination I can think of. ;D

 :D good game, or GG.

Adrain knew this warrior should be buried right. But he didn't have the time. He scavenged her food and left. He wondered what to do next. He decided the beasts family should know. He packed and set out for Salamandestron... He had a new goal now to. To show the beasts of Mossflower, Southward, and Salamandestron, that vermin could be just good as "woodlanders." And off he went, feet marching along the past in tune, but his eyes romed the sides of the road, still looking for enemies. Aside from that, he knew the beasts at Salamandestron could kill him. But he would show them, he was a goodbeast. Like this "Blaggut" person he'd heard of...

The end!
