All righty, Sky very cleverly used a weakness in my ruleset to eliminate everybody before they could react, so. She wins, and we're starting the game again a little later tonight.

The new rule: posts made before the game began do not count. You can only tag posts that were made after the game started.

Also, everybody gets three lives now. You need to tag someone three times before they are out of the game.

Will PM all of you your new assignments. The game will begin when I update this post and say so.

Under the old rules, you could tag a post that was made before the game started (which was 8:23 PM, CST). Sky did this to everybody and won before most of you (including you) even logged on to see who you were targeting.

Needless to say, we're not allowing that anymore.

The new round hasn't started yet, but will probably at 10:30 or so. (Somehow I exceeded the max PM limit, so some of you are going to get your new targets for round 2 a lot later than others. No worries, though -- no posts made count before I start the game again, and that hasn't happened yet. I will let all of you know clearly when that happens, on this thread.

All right, I'm sorry for being so late with this. The trouble logging on and stuff delayed me.

Jett eliminated Skyblade around 2 PM on March 3. That was the last elimination. According to the rules, I tallied up the posts made from the beginning of the game up to the last elimination, and Jett had more posts than Gonff over the course of the game, so he wins this round.

I'm not inclined to host another round right away, but if I did, I'd change up the rules a bit:

1) All the taggers and tagg-ees should be made public, not private. PMing everybody their roles is a huge hassle, and besides that, the game didn't really go as I hoped it would in either of the first two rounds. I had hoped you would figure out your tagger after being hit once or twice, and try to avoid them by posting when other people would follow you up. That didn't happen -- I think only one person had time to get notified about being tagged. The rest of the time, the tagger would hit their target three times before they had time to get notified, or react.
2) The forums that are permitted should be changed to discussion forums only, like any of the book forums, Cavern Hole, or maybe the Front Lawns. I was hoping that the game would increase substantive posts. As it turned out, everybody posted in either the Cellars, the Hideouts, or Forum Games -- off-hand I can't think of any tags that were made on one of the other forums.

If someone wants to take over the game, they are welcome to do so. It's simple enough; all you have to do is make a list of who's playing, randomize it, and then each person tries to tag the person below them on the list.
