Do you have a problem where, none of your friends have read Redwall?

Bah! Just because Redwall has anthropomorphic animals, everyone assumes they're just for children.

I don't have many friends, but I'm the only one who reads. Period. My friends are the outgoing, want to party every night type and I'm the bookworm who would rather sit at home with a good book. I keep recommending books to them, but they don't really listen to me.

This was like the biggest problem for me last year. I would always read these books during class and one of them had a picture of Brian Jacques on the back. The whole back cover was literally covered with his face. From then on they started calling Redwall the old man books. So now they'll be like, "You still reading those old man books redwallgurl?"
Such a huge issue for me.

If they want to think like that, many books are "old man books." I couldn't even begin to list them all!
