A. There were only five of them I don't think you should worry to much.
B. You should put scouts on the wall tops.
C. I wouldn't tell any one just yet. Don't want to frighten them it may just be nothing.
D. I would send out some scouts to see if they can find out how many the enemy has.
E. I would go after the five and try to stop them before they can catch up with the main group.

The Abbess lead Maxwell up the stairs and in to the Great Hall The abbess walked up the the tapestry and took down Martins sword "Here take this you will need it,"

B. Refuse it is to great an honer
C. Ask the abbess to keep it they may need it at Redwall.

BIC: Skipper nodded he under stood he would probably be needed at the abbey anyway. Maxwell left the abbey building and the abbess followed. She let him out the side gate waving to him as he left. after walking along the path for a little he saw.
