The Return of a Hero

Redwall has been lacking an Abbey warrior for some time now. Finally when things start to look grim Martin sends a new hero.

This is a game me and my sister would play together. I modified it to work for the boards. It is a mix of Ruin Runner and Knights quest. Everyone will play as the same character, a young mouse named Maxwell other than that how the character acts and his history is really up to you and how you play.

I will describe the seen and then give you several options Like...

As Maxwell entered the clearing he saw three big stoats. He then proceeded to... 

A. Run
B. Stay and fight
C. Hide

You will then pick the one you want Maxwell to do. If I want you to answer in RPing format (which will be most of the time) I will put this (RP) at the end of the post.

After that I will describe the consequences of your choice.

You will start out with nothing in your inventory including weapons. Sometimes I will give you the option to takes something and add it to you Inventory.   

Rules

1. If someone says something about Maxwell it becomes fact (Unless I say otherwise).
2. One person at a time. Once someone post you have to wait for me to reply before the next person can post (or you can post again).
3. You can’t control other characters that is my job. (ie. The Abbes, Skipper, a random Dibbun)
4. You are only allowed to use objects and weapons in your inventory.
5. please write you RP posts in past tense.
6. I am the GM what I say goes.
7. Any body can play you don't need to be invited. There is no Limit. 


When the game starts Max will have 6 lives lucky for him all his enemies will only have one.

Maxwell walked along the path trees to his Right and the open plain to his left there was a bend in the path a head. Maxwell heard a sound like several creatures tramping trough the forest. He...   

A. Ignores it.
B. Goes to investigate it.
C. Runs up the path to get away.

As Maxwell hears the trampling of feet, he thinks of what it could be. An evil monster? A ghoul? of course not! Being a genuine hero, he marched up to the source of the noise, seeing that it was....?

OOC: I should have said this earlier that this will be a more traditional game keeping to way BJs had it in the books. (just wanted to let you know)

BIC: Seeing that it was five vermin. Three rats, a stoat, and a fox who seemed to be in charge. They were all dressed in ragged dirty clothing and carrying rusty blades. The fox was also wearing a cape which looked like it had seen better days Maxwell...

A. Follows them and stay hidden.
B. Confront them even though you have no weapon.
C. Go to tell the abbey that there are vermin in the area.

So I'm looking at vermin with angry clothes, and I'm supposed to tell them that there are vermin in a song?

Maxwell stayed behind. He watched them pass, hoping not to alarm them of his presence. He didn't know where they were headed, but the beasts of Redwall ought to know soon.

[Faiyloe]

As the vermin passed by Maxwell could make out what they were saying.

"hey it's yer fault we're lost!," One of the rats said

"'ow many times do a 'ave ta bang it inta yer idle witted brain that we're not lost!" Th fox said hitting the rat over the head with the handle of his spear " I knows exactly where we are. I just don't know where the horde Is but they can't o' gotten far an' when we do catch up wit 'em we can tell his lord ship about that big red castle we saw, there must be mountings o' food an' riches packed up inside and slaves dier where lots o' those woodlanders there, then maybe he will let us off the hook,"

"Maybe ye say, Maybe we should run now save our skin... all knows what... dose to deserters... never... last time..." After they had disappeared in to the trees Maxwell tuned and headed back towards the abbey.

As Maxwell approached the abbey he herd music and sinning coming from inside he...

A. Knocked on the side wicker gate.
B. Goes around to the front and knocks on the gate house.
C. Yells up at the wall tops.
D. Lets him self in. he has been there many times before and he knows a secret way to get in to the abbey. (You may pick what the secret way is in your post)

Maxwell walked around to the west side of the abbey and knocked on the large, wooden gate.

[Faiyloe]

After a few minutes the gate was opened by the gate keeper, a scruffy looking old mouse a little over weight and  dressed in the tactical green habit of the brothers and sisters of the abbey. " Welcome to Redwall you have arrived just in time for the feast. My name is brother Hiyber and you are?"

A. Don't answer and tell him you have to speak to the abbess right away.
B. The vermin can wait. Answer him and then go and join in the feast.
C. Tell Brother Hiyber about the vermin.

Maxwell quickly brushed past him and ran to find the abbess, hoping he would be in time.

The gate keeper followed behind somewhat baffled and protesting "But sir, wait where are you going?" there where many tables set up by the orchard with creatures of all kinds ages seated around them. They were laded with good food of all kinds as well. Maxwell...

A. Went to the head of the table. That was probably where the Abbes would be.
B. Knew exactly where to find the abbes. He had know her for many years. (It is up to you where that place is)
C. Saw all the food and decided that the Abbess could wait. He hadn't eaten decent food in days. Ever since his food had run out.

Ignoring the food Maxwell entered the main Abbey building still fallowed by Brother Hiyber.
"Sir who are you and where are you going? I must insist," He protested as they went down in to cavern hole and then in to the kitchen where the abbes, a tall thin mouse, sat at a small table talking and drinking tea with a fat old mole, The abbeys cook. The abbess stood up as Maxwell entered.

"Maxwell what are you doing here what a nice surprise, come sit down,"

"So you know this young man?" Brother Hiyber said even more confused now then before. Maxwell...

A. Sat down.
B. Told the abbes of the vermin.
C. Greeted The Cook and the Gate house keeper properly and then took some roles.
