Same thing as Amarith's topic except the paragraph/song/poem/part of a poem, can be from anything. And just for the sake of knowledge let's also post the source of our recitation.

"I ne'er was struck before that hour
With love so sudden and so sweet,
Her face it bloomed like a sweet flower
And stole my heart away complete.

My face turned pale as deadly pale,
My legs refused to walk away
And when she looked what could I ail?
My life and all seemed turned to clay."

-First two verses of "First Love" by John Clare.
Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.

"A foreign shore behind me and a hundred more to go,
On stormy seas and starless nights, caught on a cold wind's blow.
So many years have put my battered bow up to the test,
A long-forgotten promise coming home at last to rest."

- First verse of "The Word I Couldn't Keep" from Nancy Drew: Sea of Darkness
