Oh, dear. I seem to have meandered off my path somehow... Now everything looks different from how it's supposed to, and I don't recognize anyone at all! It appears I'm quite lost. Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?

Well, with so many different people coming here it's hard to say a specific trait to define them all, but being in possession of a technological device usually is a consistent attribute. Quite curious.

I've been on many travels, but I don't seem to remember a place called "Wonderland." I also don't know an Alice, but if I meet her, I'll tell her you were looking for her.

-Sometime later, the second mate was unexpectedly rescued by the subplot, which had been trailing a bit behind the boat (and the plot). The whole story moved along.
