I know I've watched multiple episodes and we have a couple of the books. At the school I went to for a couple years, the computer teacher would always show the computer one and we never got to finish it. I've always loved the series, but it's been a really long time since I've watched any.

they try to teach you something, and the characters are creepy in a way they aren't supposed to be.

Vaguely remember watching this a few times. Remember owning the PC game where they visit the rainforest more than the actual show. :D
