It's just my mother is obsessed with this show about dwarfs who own a farm- and I never really got why dwarfs would prefer to call themselves 'little people'- especially after Lord of The Rings made dwarfs badass!
Ahem, most of the 'jokes' I 'get' are some things along the lines of 'tails aren't meant to grow from your head' (I have a Sikha (Hindu ponytail))

everyone in my family is extrodinarily tall, my uncles have to duck to get in doorways. when all of us are together people always say "how tall your kids are" and stuff like that, but comparitivly within our famliy it seems pretty normal.. except my little brother is short (compared to the rest of my family). people ask if my short brother and my sister (2 yrs younger than him) are twins. they look like it..
