No it wouldn't Lass. In real life, Kade would probably do it gently. (One would hope so, anyway)

Yeah, but men generally have a better idea of such things. (I hope)

I think Kade is still a boy inside, and he most likely will not do that anyway, let alone come to NZ...

How dare you say such a thing! My brother is an extremely manly man, in fact. Have you seen his muscles? Or his fluff? Only men get fluffy.
As to him coming to New Zealand, if we refuse to watch all the movies that he thinks are essential to life, he may come over just to force us to watch them. (So no more watching The Princess Bride. Forget everything about it and never get or make any references to it)

I'm not sure exactly which ones we'll be forced to watch, but an entire week's worth will be exhausting.

Ah, welp, I would feel ill after one day XD

Don't worry, I'll give you 30 minute breaks every 26 hours  ^-^

Me too, but it'd be worth it if it meant meeting Kade. (And he'd probably need to actively sit on us to keep us still, so he can't just come in, put the movie on and leave again)

I'll do it, and I can assure you that you won't enjoy it.

You could always read a book while watching the movies.
Quote from: lass of something much on April 05, 2020, 09:18:47 PM
that's not how it works.

I don't think Kade would let me.

My, what smart chooks you both are!

You have siblings to help with that.

Hehe... hehehehehehe....

Of course I would!  I'm not particularly fond of fratricide, and I do happen to like you, so you'd be in little real danger.

Once again, this is a smart chook here.  THOUGH, if you try a stunt like that, the first day will just be watching the Eragon movie over and over again.  (Note: This is, in fact, torture.)

On the other hand, I'd be more likely to make you read the Inheritance Cycle over and over again, with the optional addition of book 5 and any others that end up being published by that time. So, come to England.

How bad actually is the movie? I've never watched it and never plan to.

Yech, the Inheritance Cycle. I liked it the first time I read it. The second time, it was not as good as I had remembered. The third time, I realized that it is actually terrible writing. The more you read it, the worse it gets.

What would you consider your favorite topic to study outside of school (something you study as a hobby, not as a mandatory class)?

It's very bad.  They gave Saphira feathers.

I think I know what you mean.  It's been awhile since I read the series all the way through, but relatively recently I started re-reading Eragon, and found myself unimpressed with the overall writing.  Which saddened me, 'cause I liked the book a lot when I was younger.

Don't have a good answer, unfortunately.

Thanks. We may be significantly less smart after you've fried our brains by forcing us to have that much screen time.

Seriously? I couldn't even watch The Princess Bride for an entire day without dying or boredom. (Though I haven't read the book so the movie probably won't be quite as bad)

I might actually do that one day. (Probably with Eb) If I do though, my time will be spent socializing, mostly. I'm not going to read five plus books. I can read them when I get home. (Though I probably won't)

The fifth one is extremely short (though it doesn't help that the fourth is over 800 pages long).

I'm not into socialising, really.
