It got...convoluted, contradictory, and kinda... tiring, to write and expound.
And I wasn't completely accurate. It won't be a total rewrite. I'll still use the magic system, and maybe some of the characters. But overall, it'll (I hope) be different.

Yeah, I get what you mean.  The project I've been helping my friend with, well, he's been "working" on it since he was a kid, and some years back he just had to get rid of a ton of the stuff he'd come up with when he was younger because it just didn't work.

Eh, I don't think it'd really worry us.  I, for one, enjoy bouncing ideas back and forth for something like that.  Plus, helping put together magic systems is just fun
