It is not often used. Less so than 'won't, 'can't', or even 'shall not'.

Eh. Shan't isn't that unusual. I use it at least once a week. It's not even an interesting word. I could understand someone getting excited about the word 'decollate' or 'cornobble' but 'shan't' is just so boring.

Interesting words. Do they have definitions?

Yes. Decollate is to behead someone, cornobble is to slap someone in the face with a fish, ostrobogulous is generally applied to things which are bizarre, interesting or unusual and I don't know what squamitribble means.
