There are several possibilities....(I don't think I was here the first time, but acting is what I do) Could be a power thing or storms over most of the servers (both doubtful). It could be technicians powering off the servers for maintenance, or even possibly one of the admins taking it down to fix something on it. I had some lag yesterday
