Well, I said earlier in the thread that as long as it's two different times in between activity and you're the only one on, then it makes sense.  I made the thread for that purpose, after all ,regardless of whether it requires a double post

Pretty much this.

To elaborate, if it's like a few hours between a post and it's double, so as to allow others to check in and check out, I tend to let it slide. Anything more recent could just be edited onto an original post.
