Lucky! How did you get those?

I ordered them.
I know but from where I didn't see them on this website
I got mine from Amazon. But just to say, some are more expensive than others.

Same here.
Which two posters do you own?

Life is too short to rush through it.

I have all five.  ;D
Wow! I own The Tribes of Redwall Badgers poster, and The Redwall Map. The Redwall map is really helpful when I'm trying to find a location in the world of Mossflower.

Life is too short to rush through it.

Waht exacly is the Redwall Graphic novel about? Is it like a comic remake of the book Redwall?

Life is too short to rush through it.

Yes, it's the comic book version of the Redwall book.

I have all the novels in the series, except for The Rogue Crew which I'll get when the UK paperback version is released later this year (I actually already have it in hardback, but prefer the paperbacks, although annoyingly over the years they've kept changing size and style). I've also got two copies of Triss - on proper paperback and one pre-release proof paperback (thanks to knowing someone who worked at the New Zealand distributor).  :)

In addition, I have The Great Redwall Feast and the Redwall Map (with The Redwall Riddler). I think I've also got one of the tribe booklets, but can't find it at the moment. There's also a freeware Redwall game I downloaded a few years ago, but it's for Windows and I'm using a Mac, so can't play it.

I also have the books in the Welkin Weasel, Duncton, and Watership Down series ... and a few more I can't remember at the moment.

Romsca

I haven't heard of Duncton. What's that about?

Quote from: RomscaI haven't heard of Duncton. What's that about?

The Duncton Chronicles series by William Horwood (InternetBookList.com link) is sort-of like a mole version of Watership Down, although there's no humans involved, and sometimes called "Lord of the Rings with moles". There's six very thick books in the series:
  • Duncton Wood
  • Duncton Quest
  • Duncton Found
  • Duncton Tales
  • Duncton Rising
  • Duncton Stone
I liked reading them, but they can be heavy-going in places and quite mumbo-jumbo with the religious "worshiping The Stone" stuff, and there's some violence and fighting ... so aimed at an older age group than the Redwall books.

I also forgot that I had Brian Jacques' first Castaways of the Flying Dutchman book too.

The Rouge Crew ... that's the one about the Redwall make-up team creating blushers and lipsticks from various berries.  ;)

I always mis-spell it that way too and have to correct it.  :)

LOL! :D

Buzz_Bumble

I forgot that I also have some Redwall animated DVDs. There's a set of eight volumes and then another DVD, but I'm not sure what they are because I haven't gotten around to watching them.

On a side note, here in New Zealand the Maori TV channel does play the animated Redwall series from time to time, but dubbed into the Maori language ... that's a very weird experience.  :)

Romsca

Does it just have Redwall, Martin the Warrior, and Mattimeo, or is there a new season which is only available in New Zealand?

Buzz_Bumble

I'm not sure what it is. I haven't watched my English DVDs and I haven't seen a whole episode of the Maori-dubbed ones (just bits and pieces when flicking channels - I don't speak or read Maori language, so don't watch the channel). It's hugely unlikely it's anything new - it's a cheapo channel playing mostly a load of rubbish in Maori (they also play Mr Ed dubbed into Maori, which is weird too) and strange movies.

It is played in an after-school or weekend timeslot. It isn't on at the moment (there's something called Cyberchase being), but was a few weeks ago and will probably be back again at some stage - it's been on about five or six times over the last few years.

Vilu Daskar

I have them all now all but two or three are from Half Price Books.
Never trust a smiling pirate.  :D

I can do that because I'm awesome.

"It really gets up my nose when publishers call my book another Lord of the Rings. It's my bloody book! I wrote it. And another thing, I didn't have to plunder Norse and European mythology to do it!" - Brian Jacques.
