I'm going to have to go with Grizzly, due to the size difference, and I think bears are, in general, more suited for extended combat.

Grizzly; larger, stronger, tougher, higher endurance, and slightly braver.

All the tiger has going for it is a slight speed and agility advantage.

to me it seems it would b an easy win for the grizzly

Tiger, because they have the advantage of speed and agility. Tigers are double-jointed. Bears are not.

Look up youtube videos of tiger vs. grizzly bears, and the tiger usually wins. Speed and agility are everything, whereas you can't always open a locked door with strength, and you can't fell a tree by banging your head against it.
