Fair enough. We've had six dogs, not counting puppies that were sold. Coke, Ruffette, Nemo, Puffalo, Kitty and Lima.

I feel sorry for Coke.

I asked Mum and she said Coke was named after the kind-of-charcoalish-stuff that's a very dark brownish black, not the drug or the fizzy drink.

So coal. Then why not name him Cole?

Because Coke sounds better, and coal is black, where as she was very dark brown. (Besides, if she was named Cole, my siblings wouldn't have been able to convince me that she was named after a drug, though maybe they would have done it anyway. I wouldn't put it past them)

I always thought it was unfair of Trobar to tease Will about that. After all, it was Horace that came up with the name. Will wanted to call her Bread and Butter Pudding. (Which, in my humble opinion, would be a great name for a dog)

I don't know if there's any specific thing, but some people just generally feel not right. (Though smoking and drinking aren't particularly desirable attributes)
