Oh, huh. I like Star Trek and Star Wars and other Sci-Fi over fantasy stuff.

Well, I just don't read the Hobbit books is all.
*book
SEE! I don't know anything about them.
Well, if this'll help explain anything, The Hobbit is the prequel to The Lord of the Rings and has several of the same characters.

It isn't a prequel, The Hobbit came first and it only ties into the story of LotR in terms of the ring

"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.

But it's set before LotR, isn't it? So, it's a prequel.

It is set before LOTR and it tells of how the Ring came to Bilbo and therefore to Frodo.
Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.

No, a prequel is something that comes later to explain something earlier, got it? :)
I am a squirrel, an otter, a mouse, a fox, a stoat, a ferret, a weasel, a wildcat, a hare, a hedgehog, a badger; I am the master of disguises, The Mask.

No, a sequel is a followon to the story.

A prequel is something created after the original to explain what happened leading up to that, for example Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is a prequel to Five Nights at Freddy's and Revenge of the Sith is a prequel to A New Hope. The Hobbit isn't a prequel because it was written before Fellowship of the Ring

Ah, I see.

Anyway, my brother has been making Lego stopmotion videos for quite a while, and a few days ago he decided to make his own rendition of "They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard". So, here it is, if you want to watch it:

(Note that we don't own a Gollum minifigure (or Celeborn, for that matter), so he had to improvise.)

If you ever watch anything of Homestuck, watch this, it is a fan-made video of how the trolls defeated the Black King of their session (the bad guys are based on chess pieces)

Yeah, double post, but I just had to share this! It's a LEGO Rivendell that took eleven months to build! It's 50 inches high and stands on a 5 foot by 4 foot baseplate! (Wow, a lot of exclamation points.)

There's a lot of swearing in this but I feel obligated to share it as it's masterful
