im not a big fan of the blue
cheese, i like
yellow and maybe roasted pike

Mm. Roasted pike is just right,
but I prefer scones that are dry.
I bake those in the night.
Morning arrives and I eat them at nigh.

When I'm alone,
I close my eyes,
I go to my place,
Of paradise.
I am a paintbrush in an artist's pallet,
I am a needle I use to knit,
I am a beaches grain of sand,
I am a sweet candy lollipop,
I am a trumpet in the army band,
I am a yellow lemon drop,
I am a bird that doesn't like heights,
I am a cat roaming the nights,
I am a cactus in the desert by myself,
I am a little Santa's elf,
I am a cheetah running across a plain,
I am a toothbrush brushing away,
I am an otter in a dam,
I am a Redwaller,
When I open my eyes and the alarm clock rings,
I know to myself I am all these wonderful things.


(This is a poem I had to do for school. The teacher said the whole thing can't rhyme so that's why some is rhymed and some is not.)
