No offence of course, but seriously, I don't think it's a good idea. Someone else writing Redwall would ruin the series and confuse people. Half the charm in the books is the Brian Jacques style of writing, if someone else wrote it, it just wouldn't be the same. I vote No.

I think that if the successor is really good and all, than yes, but if they are a absolutely horrible writer and only know a little about Redwall than no.
