Called off. Currently searching for a more "cooperative" site. I think a pay site would be best. Any suggestions, post them here.

Trig, I already stated my concerns with this place in the Suggestions thread.  I will not support a place that allows anyone to post as any person they choose.  Just to make a point, what's to stop anyone from going in there, saying their alias is "Lutra" and pretends to be forum staff?  There's nothing to prevent that, and I don't like it.

I just popped in to the chat to see what everything was like, and yeah, it's impossible to know for sure who is who. Obviously we can't stop everyone from going to the site, but I'd like to echo what Matthias and Lutra have said: "The forum staff will not support an off-site chat room, nor do we endorse anything that may take place on said site." Like the chat site says, You enter the room at your own risk.

That would only work if the software which runs this board supports a chat room and is connected to the board in some way.

Like I said, register at yahoo.com or something, and then give each other the username you picked there.  Then its a guarantee who is who and you know who you're speaking with because they gave you their account name.
