If you could tell/ask Brian Jacques anything, what would you tell/ask him?

If I could have talked to him while he was still alive, I would have told him that his books have been so inspiring to me, and I want to make movies out of his novels when I become a movie director/animation specialist.

What a great topic. I don't know what I'd say. I'd just stare at him for ages, and then probably give him a hug.  He just seemed like such a huggable person!  Nah, I'd probably tell him that he inspired my love of reading and that he's someone I really look up to. And then hug him. 

I wish I could have met him, but he never came to Australia, unfortunately. I was going to write him a letter, but I never got around it it. One of the biggest regrets of my life.

I think I would have been tongue-tied for quite a while if I had ever had the chance to meet him! Like Daniel, I always meant to send him a letter telling him how much his books meant to me and how they changed my life for the better, but I never got around to it, and now it's too late. If I'd had the chance to meet him in person I hope I'd have been able to tell him that it was his books that really got me into reading and they still influence me, even as an adult.
