Oh God I've read so many good books it's hard to remember them all! A lot of them have been mentioned already(Percy Jackson, Warriors, Inheritance cycle, Harry Potter, Hunger Games), but I also like Artemis Fowl (by Eoin Colfer), Fablehaven (by Brandon Mull) and the author Ted Dekker.

"No, I attacked the floor."

"Backwards?"

"I'm freaking talented,okay?!?"

I've seen Fablehaven at my library, is it a good book?

Just to be sure i didn't read it, is the first book about that sort of elf that finds a portal and is in a place invaded by bad guys?

Firehawke

Nope.  The first Fablehaven book is about two kids that go and stay with their grandparents on what turns out to be a reserve for magical animals.

The book that you're thinking about sounds like fun, though!

A book series a lot of Redwall fans may enjoy is the "Time Stops for No Mouse" series by Michael Hoeye. They feature Redwall type animals (including mice, rats, moles, chipmunks, otters etc) in a modern but make-believe setting.  I would describe them as zany mystery adventures.  They're incredibly funny and entertaining.  The protagonist is really loveable and enjoyable to read about.  I HIGHLY recommend them.  If your library doesn't have them, it would be a book I'd recommend ordering a copy of, because you will want to read it again.  There are four books.  The titles are themed after clocks because the protagonist, Hermux, is a watchmaking mouse.

Time Stops for No Mouse
The Sands of Time
No Time Like Show Time
Time to Smell the Roses

The first two are my favorites, but the other two are wonderful as well.  This is a little known series, so I wanted to make sure I shared with you all. I have reread them countless time and am always enthralled by them.

If you like Christian romance novels, you could read the Katie Fremont series by Sharon Westra.  A Season of Dreams, The Rest of Forever, and Shine Like Stars.  It's a very beautiful series about a high school/college girl who's found true love.  I laughed and cried over this series.  It was amazing.

I've read some good christian books too. They are: Red Falcons of Tremoine, Hidden Treasure of Glaston, If all the swords in England And Charlemagne. Very good books. Wishbone is good too.

Dragonkeeper Chronicles!  Dragonspell, Dragonquest, Dragonknight, Dragonfire, Dragonlight.  Awesome Christian books by Donita K. Paul.  It's about a girl named Kale that has a "special" connection with dragons.  Hehe, I can't tell you what the connection is though, or else I might ruin the story.
