Otters and hares have always been my joint favourites, not sure I could choose between them! The hares are just hilarious and I love the fact that the otters have a sort of pirate thing going on

I've always loved foxes. Especially you-know-who. I really like otters, too. They're neat. Hares are just hilarious. Basil Staghare is my firm favorite.

Hahahahahahhahahaha. Very funny. No, I meant Skalrag. I love how squeaky his voice is! So unlike the other characters with deeper voices that just SOUND evil.

Shhhh, it's hardly every other post, and anyway even if it was I know some really strange quirks that certain members of this board have... like one guy has this propensity to post everything in a combination of a Northland and Lizard accent.

Anyway, it's definitely an original choice, more so than hares (who are kinda overrated, in my opinion ).

I'm not sure I really have a favorite single species... I like most of them all right, but I like some portrayals of species better than others; I think badgers are at their best in Mossflower, as well as the squirrels and otters; I like the mice best in Redwall, I like the rats best in Mariel of Redwall, probably, and so on.

I don't JUST post as Nightfire the Mercenary Squirrelqueen of the North.  I've also posted as Lady Amber, the fifth Mossfloer Squirrelqueen. And I've posted As Alenra, the neutral rat that also happens to be Cluny the Scourge's sister. And I've posted as Araiah, a clueless young squirrelmaid from Redwall. And I'm planning on posting as Streamblaze, and Ottermaid from the Southsward lands.

It would be really interesting if Cluny the Scourge had some kind of relation. I wonder how it would affect the story...

Well, I'm currently in the process of writing a fanfic about Cluny's sister. She had no great love for him though. As far as she was concerned, he was a disgrace to rats worldwide. I have writer's block though right now, so there's nothing new, but you can read what I've written so far.
